Please understand that sunni muslims do not practise taqiyyah unless it’s a life or death situation; then to protect your life you can lie and say you don’t believe in Allah etc as long as you have the belief that you do in your heart. It’s the Shias that practise taqiyyah left right centre, it’s part of their belief. So please stop confusing us with them. Our brothers and sisters unite upon tawheed (monotheism) and haqq (truth).

Ego was so inflamed to the point it was hard to see the CLEAR truth. 11 years ago I was introduced to Islam by many signs. So many I couldn’t ignore it anymore and I come from a place where it’s very islamophobic. Not only that I didn’t have any Muslims in my life. I kept thinking no no that doesn’t make sense or no this isn’t real. I was scared. I was scared of the truth. I was raised into Apostolic Christianity. And on the side of it all I would listen to Quran recitation but only for relaxation. That’s it (so I thought)
I couldn’t take it anymore. I felt empty and dead inside. In the summer of August 2020 I took my shahada Alhamdulillah. Nobody understands this feeling unless you’re Muslim!! Alhamdulillah I feel sooo alive! I’ll never give up worshiping Allah. I submit myself for peace by worshipping Allah. Allahu Akbar!
