You can’t imagine how long I have wanted to hear a politician come out in favor of making sure kids have food in their stomachs so they can LEARN. I am the son of an outstanding educator who advocated for that very thing as a part of properly educating children because it was always about the whole child when it comes to being able to educate a child. She always said, “How can a child learn when they are sitting there with their stomachs hurting because they haven’t been properly fed?”

I agree Adam is very good at this. I’m inspired by his youth and that he has been well educated (and I suspect self educated as well). I’m usually of the opinion that due to financial cuts brought to the education system by the Republicans that this age group of Americans were robbed of a good education, well apparently not everyone.

I’m 68and, while my days of dabbling with drugs are over 2 decades behind me, I’m not opposed to legalizing marijuana. It’s worth doing to stop filling up jails and ruining lives over pot. I will stand up and cheer when they ban assault weapons.
