I had not thought of the potential flat spots on the belt from being under continuous load without rotation. Thats a good little nugget for the back pocket!
👊 Thanks for watching, Bryan!

Are you sure that your blade guide assemblies wear surface is plastic? I'm pretty sure that mine are made of graphite.
@@SeriouslyStumpd I am NOT sure. I just looked at them and assumed they were plastic. 🤷♂
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Gotcha. I've noticed a graphite like powder on my blade after adjusting the the tracking prior to resetting the assemblies. That's how I came to that conclusion.
Mr Lucas. I learned a ton in this video thank you sir
Thanks, Mike!
Great video Lucas
Thanks, Bud!
Very helpful. Thank you
Awesome! I’m no expert, just trying to share what I’m learning as I go. 👊
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomesteadthats right never too late to learn someting, the way every thing its getting very expensive at the store its good to do things to save money, also learnig to do weldind, on my brand New saw mill lm gonna add Long track just to have no limits on cutting wood by buy the metal beams and buid extra track my self.
Just got my SM-22 assembled. Hope in a couple of days I will be able to cut my first board.
Congratulations! It’s so rewarding! Keep us posted on how it is going!
Thanks alot for that information, l just buy one of those 22" Wide and fixed to put together and the information Will be very use full
The first time I set the tracking on a new mill I backed off all the rub blocks so they don't push against the blade and affect the tracking they can get bumped out of place in shipping after that it probably isn't necessary the first time I went one step further
That’s actually a really smart idea. Thanks for sharing!
