I'm having my coffee Jason as I watch your Sunday Morning video. Really nice builds. I never built the '41 Willys. It always looked very fragile. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week.
Awesome Sunday Morning Cars and Coffee episode...really love the stories everyone has been sharing lately! Your comparison of the '41 Willy's builds was really interesting; thanks for sharing them with us! Hope you and your family have a great week!
i remember the kit when it came out also the line of Clear funny cars mr norm cugar chargers a bunch would like a chance to build them 40 plus years latter
Awesome builds and i love tve story behind them! ....now i really need to get myself one of those kits! I really want to build one myself seeing how nice they look displayed like yours in the video
There was a guy in our club who built a SCW Willys. It looked gorgeous. When I complimented him on it, he told me he wanted to throw it against the wall so many times when he was building it. He is a good modeler, but he really punched above his weight when it came to that build. Yours is really neat. The fact you got that built pretty much box stock without a bunch of Tim Kustom engineering techniques is amazing! Especially the articulated steering! Your cousin's build is solid as well. Does he still build? Love this series and what you do with. A nice start to my week before a little building myself. My "really got to get going on it build is the Street Machine Group Build!🙄
They both look great. Actually, they complement each other displayed together that way. Personally, I want to build the Willys as close to factory stock as I can, but from what I gather the kits do not have enough parts to do it.
I remember building a couple of those kits a long time ago as a kid. With all the opening parts. - boy those things were fiddly !! At least to me as a a kid LOL. - those two you have look great 👍
That kit is a bit quirkey How did ya like them half springs I built 1 of 2 rebuilders that I had found fot Doug Hensly's tribute build With a barn find backstory with 2 brothers Those turned out great Nicely done
A Tale of Two Willys...could be a title for an adult novel lol. All kidding aside, beautiful builds. I have never been brave enough to attempt this kit though I love the actual car.
I haven't built a Willys kit, but after seeing those, two, I might have to change that. Guessing from the cars going by, it sounds like it's raining there.
I'm glad you clarified that it was two "41" Willys. I was a little concerned I tuned into the wrong channel. 🤣 Too cool! Did you ever show them together at a contest? Peace and love.
Awesome story Jason, two great builds. Glad you shared.

That’s awful lol. This kit was very challenging, but also rewarding. Thanks for watching.
I haven't built a Willys kit, but after seeing those, two, I might have to change that. Guessing from the cars going by, it sounds like it's raining there.
