this episode 73 made me cry for like 1hr and a half! I kept watching the parts before she died and when she finally did I CRIED LIKE A BABY! Yi San loved her so much.Like every women, Song Yeon would rather herself die then her baby. And like every man, Yi San would want her to live. I was touched when YS told her he couldn't live without her and she said not to cry &that he must overcome it and keep living. So sad. I wished that YS would had spent the last days&nights with her before she died.
This was one of the most emotionally draining and epic kdrama's I have ever seen. Jumong is up there with the cry factor though. But nothing had me more than Yi San from start to finish wow. Love this video!
I rewatched it lately, and the feeling never change, it was most sincere story of love, which continued even after the death.. it is really took a lot emotions from me, especially when she died, but always convinced love is forever thing, without end, even she was far from him, she always gave a lot of support and warmness... The dorama showed us power of love ... how strong can be love for people, how can save their boring lives ......However not everyone is deserved for love... Love is a deal of goodness...

Those are the first korean dramas transmitted by romanian television and became popular. Regarding this song from Yi San, I must say that it's so beautiful it speaks to you on emotional level and touch your heart. Pitty I cannot understand the lyrics but the melody is great.

@kaubly if you mean Crown Prince Sado then it should be the Royal Noble Consort Yeong of the Lee clan. If you mean King Yeongjo, it should be Queen Heongyeong of the Poongsan Hong clan.

I really like this movie, I cried. Not to be prejudice but why most of the korean's movies, one of the main character has to always die. I want to see happy endings. I really like this movie, and I was hoping they will live happily with each other to the end.

I want to watch this Yi San but I can’t relate because there is no english sub title. Much regret indeed. My fave also is Dong Yi. It melt my heart on the eternal love of the King to Dong Yi. I wish I could still watch Yi San soon if there is already eng subtitle.

@kaubly I'm Korean, so I can answer your question a little detaily. King Jeong jo (1752-1800) had 4 concubines totally. This drama showed only 3 concubines. The mother of King Sun jo(1790-1834), who appeared at the final episode of this drama, was another concubine, Su bin Park. She was one of 4 concubines of King Jeong jo. She didn't appear at this drama. Even if this drama is based on Korean historical truth, some parts of this drama are a little different from historical truth. ^^
she was pregnant when she had liver cancer. she could have survived by eating a medicine but it would kill her unborn child. She chose to die in her child's place. It is very touching. But I'm sure every caring, loving woman would feel the same. She managed to give birth.
