Brings back childhood memories. In 1955 to 1960 we lived on a Farm In Don Robin just East of Warren. We planted rice, reared cows, sheep, chicken, ducks and turkeys. A picture of my father and grandparents harvesting rice in the karian was featured in the "Caribbean Lands" a Geography text book of the West Indies. Neighboring farms on the west and east of us were owned by the Crandons and Hanomans. We walked more than one mile on the public road through Warren and #19 villages to our primary school, Bohemia Canadian Mission School. I still cannot believe that I started doing that journey as a 5 year old and after returning home in the afternoon had to do chores on the farm until sunset. Of course I cannot recognize any of the buildings in the video now but landmarks back then was Nana Gobind's Rice mill, the Church of Nazarene, The milkman Khan's shop and the cricket ground.

I went to school with all ofMr Khan's children except the eldest son (Teddy) who had already graduated from primary school. One of his sons (Baby Khan) was my classmate. I think his only daughter's name was Khameel, a classmate of my sister Zorina. Several years ago I met one of the sons, John in Jamaica. We recognized each other right away and started chatting. He was teaching in one of the Islands and had recently relocated to Kingston. You can tell your aunt and uncles that you met Zorina's brother on the internet.
Warren is the village just east of No#19. Some people would refer to Warren as No 19. From west to east are Bohemia, No19, Warren, Dun Robin, Borlam, where the road turns slightly to the right, hence Borlam turn. Most people drom the "R" and say "Bolam tun"
