Hi Sara I use your videos to make clothes for premmies, as they so easy to follow. I've not made many for boys, and I've been wanting to make this outfit for a while. I'm wondering if you realised that you did the seventh and eighth row twice, with 8 dc and then two dc in the same stitch? Am I supposed to do eight stitches, or nine, to get up to 124 stitches at the end of row eight. I would love to hear back from you, as I'm sure others are wondering the same thing. Keep making your amazing videos. 😊
Oops 😬 thanks for letting me know. Yes ignore the repeat row and skip to the end of the 7th row where you should have 124 dc which starts at 19:29 in the video.
I love all your tutorials, thank you so much, you have taught me how crotchet. Ive made a few things for my new grandson. I never knew how easy & rewarding crotchering can be 😊💐💐
I just love your patterns and your method of teaching. This is the 2nd set of this sweater and pants that I am making. I want to say that I did tweak the cuffs just a bit. I made the garments with my G 4.0 hook. When I got to the FP/BP cuffs, I did the first round of dc post stitches with the G hook. Then I did the next 4 rounds of hdc post stitches dropping a hook size on each round, round 2 with my F-3.75, round 3 with my E-3.5, round 4 with my D-3.25, and round 5 with my C-2.75. It really makes a very lovely, nicely tapered cuff, both on the sleeves, legs, and sweater bottom. Keep up your wonderful tutorials. I make many of them. Thank you.
Hello ma'am, thank you so much for sharing this video. It is the first time that I crocheted a sweater and that made perfectly. I'm very grateful to you.
Hi thank you for so many english tutorials I love your work, but I need help with this jumper and how you get such a state seem down the back I have tried so often to get it starts can you help please, Belinda
Fantastic pattern and easy to follow tutorial! Love the first jumper that I have made.. cannot wait to try your other patterns! Just to say in the video it repeats row 7 (8 double crochet then 2 into next stitch) twice which did confuse me a little when the stitch count didn't add up... Otherwise fab video! 💕
Oops 😬 thanks for letting me know. Yes ignore the repeat row and skip to the end of the 7th row where you should have 124 dc which starts at 19:29 in the video.
Hi this is a super cute sweater but i am having a problem with joining the round, it doesn't look nice a straight like yours, i am new to crocheting what am i doing wrong? i have also tried the seamless DC but that looks tatty too. Thanks Gillian
It’s just a matter of practice. Keep trying and as long as you’re joining to the first dc and not the chains you will be ok. Try to keep the same tension as well. Good luck 👍

Hi sara if I want to make this a dress for a doll and I have 124 stitches how would I make the arm holes how many stitches for the arm the front the back
Ma'am what should be the length from shoulder to waist ribbing if I'm making this for a 9-12 months old? Your length is 30cm. Should I keep mine to 31 or more? My baby is still in my tummy so I'm a bit confused and this is just my second garment....
2:33 if in the beggining u had 52/53 stitches then how come when u made the white collar u had to make a reduction after every 5 stitches and it still turns out 48?
22:51 u left 34 stitches each on the sides for sleeves but u have 43:25 to make reductions for the sleeves ?? 3 -5reductions in 1st row of sleeves 2 reductions each in the next 2 rows and 1 reduction in the 4th row for sleeves for the stitch count to be back to 34? i’m halfway through my sweater and now i’m really confused and don’t know what to do

I'm confused myself. Did you follow Sara's instructions, or did you do 9 stitches and then 2 dc, to make 124 stitches on the 8th row?
🤔

Is the chain number the same for all sizes
If you use a different hook size to make it bigger or smaller then yes 👍
Can u tell me how many rows are in the sweater total(probably a dumb question)
Hi sara if I want to make this a dress for a doll and I have 124 stitches how would I make the arm holes how many stitches for the arm the front the back
Divide that number into 5 then adjust the sleeves accordingly. Make sure front and back panel have the same number of stitches. Good luck 👍

@@CrochetForBaby Thanks so much
If I have to make this for 3-4 yrs old with 4 mm hook what will be chain count to start with
I’m sorry but I don’t know stitch count for that size. Easier way is to use a bigger hook like a 5.5mm with #4 yarn.
@@CrochetForBaby thanks for your reply
@@CrochetForBaby I already started with 4mm hook with #4 yarn.

Que gracioso 😍😍
Hello ma'am, If I use a #4 yarn what number will be the hook for a 6-9 months old?
You’re going to have to go down a hook size because it will come out slightly bigger with that yarn. Good luck 👍👍
Thankyou so much. I'm gonna try out with a smaller hook size.
Hi mam, this one is very beautiful. This one is for boy or girl?
It’s for boy or girl 😉
