Tomato solution : put half of each variety out ;) they might suffer the cold, the indoor one might suffer the small pots, and that’will make a nice experiment. I’m pretty sure you have doouble what you need anyway, no ?
lovely stuff!
Do y'all keep anti-venom on farm? Or is the adder not a problem for guests or beasts?
What are you insulating the pool from? I thought the ground temp in the winter would help keep the pool thawed?
I know, i’ve mentionned that but he must have different info (i’m a pro so i’m really trying not to be judgy but... i can’t believe contrary info to what i viscerally/professionally ’know’ ;)
Can you think of an alternative insulate medium other than Styrofoam? woodchips work? The membrane would isolate ? Just wondering? Thanks, have a good season!

Vipera verus lives as far north as the arctic circle apparently.
The snakes where a grass snake and a slow worm and the slow worm is actually lizard with no legs... Grass snakes have bright spots on the neck which blackadders does not have.
