    I agree with the 3rd tip about the curl, but, instead of hitting it perfect on that hole, if you hit just a WEE bit RIGHT of perfect, while curling the ball, it will land more center of the fairway and get as much or more distance. Hitting opposite of perfect will add curl to your ball you can't get by using ball alone. ;)

    To your accuracy section 4:00 sometimes it's better off not to hit the perfect shot, as you demonstrated both of the shots made were just were great shots but not perfect according to the UI. But In reality it was the perfect shot especially the eagle, and as shown with the curl accuracy. So sometimes it's better to take a shot that is not 100% perfect but maybe off to the right a little bit so it's great shot and it has curl at the same time with ball spin wind comp. n all that. I found out that the curl can really save your ass if you find yourself backed up behind something or need a hook. a really good club for the curl is always good. I save all the coolest Clips I can but I screwed up and I erased an entire inbox one time of like 100 awesome shots that I saved or seen.

    I’m curious, why do you prefer the Navigator ball to the Quasar? The first one has better wind resistance, while the other one has better side spin
    Thanks

    Thanks

    • @Sputz032
      @Sputz032 4 года назад +1

      Wind resistance is overrated. You're better off with a ball with more power and sidespin. You can always adjust to compensate for the wind a lot easier than you can for sidespin or or power.

      @@tkevinjackson9691 I prefer the Katana. It's about even with the Titan, but in tight areas, the extra sidespin comes in handy. The Katana is a good all around ball. Works well on par 3's and par 4's. Once you get your clubs upgraded enough, the Katana becomes a solid choice on par 5's, as well.

  • @joek0620
    @joek0620 7 лет назад

    Great video. My thoughts!
    For tip 1, you are spot on. One thing to add however is this. When you aim further back, not only do the rings get smaller, but depending on the hole, the bounces ma also be lower for each bounce. This is good to consider in your set up since a lower bounce means that i spends less time in the air and that makes the winds no affect it that much. Due to this, a high level rapier is a beast with great topspin until you get your end bringer to at least level 5. I myself used my eb 3/4 until my rapier hit level 7 which got a huge accuracy and topspin boost. What level is your rapier? You should switch to it pretty soon.
    For tip 4, if you have the clubs and coins, it maybe worth it to try pro from the 2nd tee in order to get practice for the 2nd tee at a much lower cost. I may not win the tournament, but I gain cheap practice for the pro tour version. For example, I did not practice tour 8 for the very first Asia Pacific tournament due to coins. I still had decent clubs and decided to play pro for cheap 2nd tee practice. Instead of paying 300K for a tour 8 match, I pay 10K per match. Much better rate to practice and I still make the weekend round. Same for tour 9 and the very first 6 Star Hotel tourney. Instead of 1M per game on tour 9, I pay 10K per pro match. Good cheap practice and I still make the weekend.

    • @joek0620
      @joek0620 7 лет назад

      My weekend round was a disaster since I had a disconnect issue on hole 7 which gave me a bogey without taking a shot. I got it changed to a par, but the -23 only got me 26th which got me one rank short of 50 king makers. 25 king makers is ok, but if I would have birdied hole 7 and got -24, I would have got 10th and won 100 king makers. Hope these connection issues get fixed soon!

    • @joek0620
      @joek0620 7 лет назад

      My thoughts on special balls. Once you start playing tour 8+ regularly, you will need to but more nav/quasars instead of marlins regularly. You still get enough gems per day for a pack of them. Never buy titans or king makers unless you have or buy a butt load of gems. You win plenty to self sustain from pro and expert tournaments. Try to save the titans and king makers for tour 9+, especially tour 10+ since you will really need them there on a regular basis. Once you have higher level clubs and increase your skill, lower level balls will be enough on the lower tours.
      When it comes to navigators vs quasars, I can understand why you would prefer the navigator for the win resistance. For me however, I use the quasar mostly on tour 9+ since man of the newly designed holes favor you to have good side spin and curl. The side spin of the quasar really helps on the later tours and if I need more wind resistance, I have better balls to switch to. I do however use navs a lot for holes in tournaments if I know that I don't need the side spin.

    RJ , I have 2.1 Million of gold coin to spend on matches ( ..& I never spent a dime of real💰 to get it ). I’m afraid to play tour 7 and above bcs I do get into losing streaks at times. I’m even an “Expert 1” and I have a 73% win percentage yet I’m still afraid I’m going to lose so much that I worked for but I want to move up into the 2nd half of the tours up to tour 12. Since Tour 7 is 100K entrance fee , if I had a 10 game losing streak I would lose half of my earnings.! My question is, will I get paired with similar skill leveled players in Tours 7 -12 at my Expert 1 level..? My thoughts are the higher a player spends on a match , the higher his/her level of skill is , no ??

    Rj sorry I’ve not responded in some time! Hope your tournament went well brother! I’ve been really sick man! But I just wanted to tell you this video is excellent. This is what people need to know about becoming a better player in this game! Also one last thing, you should of added in the video!
    Playdemic also states in the terms and agreements, if someone is in a bad losing streak the best thing to do, is to stop playing for a little bit. Then log back in and then try your luck out! Another thing, just have fun! Do not make it a mission to expect you will always win! Yes it’s great to win, but you will always be matched up with someone with better experience, or better clubs or balls! I just went through a really bad patch in this game! I began just really disliking this game. But then I said I’m just going to play, and on the tournaments, is when I will play competitive.
    I must also say this RJ the groups on Elite, and a few other, have really turned into a complaint thread! You no longer get the help when needed. People always leave snarky comments. It’s a huge turn off! What group do you suggest RJ? Also man again great video, you are giving the secret of the chip in with the rough iron out though lmao! It’s a great way to chip in but it still takes a lot of practice. Awesome video man love it.
    Ps RJ I’ve just upgraded my HammerHead to level 6 I love the HH man

      Marlins with a little sidespin helped me a lot on tour 6. (Those narrow fairways on City Park.) Stick with power 1 balls like Quasar for tour 7. Titans can be detrimental on the shootouts, they push the LI/wood boundary just where you don't want it.

    My question is estimated ring count says say 10 I would think that using a whole target would be 10 rings yes?

    Iv been playing this game for years and years if you are really really experienced in this game and you want to enter a tournament you will find if u do pro lots of guys that normally do expert drop down to pro to beat up on the somewhat newer guys or guys that play pro and maybe expert do rookie and they take up all the top 10 spots tournaments in this game are getting a lot harder to place top 10 I myself have got good enough to place top 10 a lot but took me years of playing to get really good and buying the good ball packs that come out really help with tournaments and higher tours like 9-12

    RJ, love your vids. I just can't seem to get better. I had upwards of 30000 coins, only to lose them all. I have moments of brilliance, but just can't improve. Any suggestions?

      Jake, Thx for your advice. I'm up to 44k. I'm playing some Tour 4. I almost always end up in a shootout. That's where I get beat. I'm a better player than when I wrote my comment. Again, thx for your reply.

    Hey there Rj,
    I have a question I'm hoping you can answer.
    Would you ever recommend dumping trophies?
    My buddy (VERY experienced GC player and clan member) played my tourney for me about 4 weeks ago because I couldn't play it. So I had about 900 ish trophies while using my lvl 5 EM / lvl 7 QB, lvl 5 Sniper / lvl 5 big dawg / lvl 4 guardian, lvl 5 goliath / lvl 8 backbone, lvl 4 thorn, lvl 7 skewer, lvl 4 razor and lvl 5 malibu and with tours 1-5 maxed out and maybe 200'ish trophies in tour 6!?
    (Sorry, just trying to give you an idea of what lvl my clubs are)
    Okay so my friend gets on my account and "Practices" by playing tour 7... HE ends up winning something like 23/30 games on Tour 7!!!!
    So now instead of me winning 3/4, sometimes 2/4 or 4/4 on Tours 4 and 5 and that's mainly where I grind for Cloints! I can barely even win a single match on tour 4 because of who I'm now being matched up with.
    Should I dump trophies so that I start getting matched up with players that are pretty equal to myself? (Equal meaning their clubs are similar to mine, skill level is similar to mine and most importantly EARNED MONEY is similar to mine!"
    I'm SO tired of playing against people that have played and won 3-5 times as many games, earned 3-5 times the amount that I've earned and on top of all of that, their clubs are INSANELY GOOD! Not only are my opponent's clubs almost always maxed and they almost always all have lvl 3-4 Apocalypse's, lvl 3-5 Cataclysm's, etc, BUT they're also very good at the game and have played and won much more than I have.
    I am losing interest in the game because of this! I shouldn't have to GRIND for 3-6 hours for less than 40 Cloints because my opponents are driving the ball 400 + yards with a power 0 ball !!!
    I've been grinding ever since I started playing about 3 months ago because I loved the game and how evenly matched up my opponents were! I could play a match 80% of the time KNOWING that my opponent's clubs are probably somewhat equal to mine and that the only way I lose is if they decide to use a power 3+ ball and overpower their shots and hit them perfectly on the green!
    I know I might sound like I am crying and complaining but it sucks so bad when you go from 900 - 950 trophies to 1,300 - 1,400 trophies and start winning 1/10 !
    People will say stuff like "Get Good", "Play Conservative" or "Yea, everyone has bad days" but that's NOT the problem. The problem is matchmaking! What do I do?
    Please, I love this game, I just need some advice.

    Tour 5 having probs with. Yes I can win on there but I can lose more. I can not seem to get a good streak up at all. More so a good losing streak lol. My undoing is usually after a draw and closest to pin. I have messed that up more times that you would believe. Any Tips?

      Look up the wind chart calculator for the clubs you use and learn to use the rings, I hit a wall so I finally did that myself and now I'm MUCH better at the game.

      If it's a phone you touch the target and slide to wherever you like

    I really enjoyed your video and i learned a few things anytime I learn anything it's a positive in my opinion I do however wish you would've covered 2 more things 1 being power full power is what I mean and on different clubs meaning drivers sand. Rough not QB etc. And putting now what I mean is this normally putting is just timing but occasionally it changed now idk if that happens to everyone but for me its like I almost have to let go 3xs earlier and hope to get a great a perfect is almost impossible and distance from hole doesn't matter at all just hoping I'm not the only one going through it and hoping there's an answer to why it happens and how to avoid and or deal with it ty again for your video

    When you add top spin to your ball and pull the bullseyes back, you say it increases your clubs accuracy. If my club has an accuracy of 50 are you saying that this number goes up and gets closer to 100 or are you saying that I get closer to that 50 accuracy for a perfect shot?

    • @Sputz032
      @Sputz032 4 года назад

      No, what he's saying is the closer the target is, the closer to the 50 accuracy. The lower the clubs accuracy, the bigger the target will be, even when pulled in close. It's just the longer the shot, the less likely to meet the club's accuracy potential.

      ive been playing golf clash for four months now and i am on tour 7 and i have 20 million in coins...my strategy was stay on the lower tour and learn everything...what your clubs can do...master your shoot out draw..use your replay to view your and the other player..its the only way to learn..you might not believe me but i use the range ball 99% of the time...i buy gems when its only 80% more deal..and use gems only on the highest club..stay on the range ball because using different ball changes the distance of your club...not good on shoot out because you have to readjust..
