This boss fight is very hard until you realize most fights have a technique to win and if you dont follow it, I can become impossible. To beat Kurt you notice he doesn't use any health boosters so his Bar above his head decreases as he takes damage but it goes down very slowly, so you hit and run and stay away from his close range attacks (when he uses Sandy to run up on you and then leaps and stabs you). You hide behind cover and let your health booster regenerate so you dont get stuck without being able to health up. Eventually he wears down and you kill him.
really liked Kurt, my only gripe with the expansion is there wasn't more of him. Would have liked to talk to him more 1 on 1, find out more about him, maybe even have an option to side with him.

I think there should have been more options to 'executing' him - sparing his life so he can commit suicide in disgrace, feeding him a grenade, or even turning him cyberpsycho with your Ultimate Quickhack and setting him loose to destroy the kingdom he built.
I never struggled even half as much as this guy. I ended up killing Kurt so fast that I was barely even hurt, and I never triggered any of his cutscenes.
Its funny how you get rewarded so much for this ending compared to the other. First you get all of kurts iconic stuff then you get the blackwall gun or deck.

Netrunner is a really fun build sometimes but it’s upsetting to know how many cool fights you miss because you just look at someone and break their cyberware, cripple them, jam their weapons, and blast them with jolts of electricity until they just pass out lol This looks a lot more engaging
Yup. I tried Hansen without hacking him in very hard to enjoy the boss fight ... got one shoted with a bare slice of his knife. Alright then, I made his brain fry in 5s in the 2nd try. The same goes with Smasher, Oda, cyberpsychos. Imo they did a great job at making netrunners more challenging and entertaining to play in 2.0 but we can still effortlessly roll on any boss with the appropritate chrome & hacks. Bosses desperately need a huge damage reduction from hacking to force using more control hacks for those kind of fights designed to be long.
You know you can dodge Hansen's knife throw so he wont stun lock you by stabbing your leg. He stun locked me twice before I realized I can dodge the knife.

CDPR just showed that they can make a tough but not impossible boss enemy. But don’t do it for smasher. At this point, I think they don’t do anything serious for him as a joke.
@@hidan407 Yeah your right. So smasher comes from the 2020 table top the highest you can naturally get for any stat is 10. Smasher has a 15 in reflex tied to shooting, 18 in body tied to health and punching, and 20 in movement allowance so he'll doge most attacks payers throw at him and this isn't even account his SP of fucking 42.. 42 damage or greater is needed to even hurt him an AR at most will do 30... that is the strongest small arms damage wise. You'll Littrell need an anti-marital weapon to even hurt him. And since he's full Borg I don't know how much health he has. So yeah, smasher frankly if he were lore accurate, no V.

I fought him with a knife throwing build. It's a true battle between the nehan and the fang. Was super awesome. I threw at least 20 knives into his skull and he's still stabbing me in the leg like no tomorrow. Much better boss fight than Smasher.
This fight was _awesome._ For the first time with my ridiculously OP melee only build, I genuinely felt like I was facing an enemy I was evenly matched with. His animations for taking you down and putting blades in you felt like the finishers I took for granted, even on bosses like Oda. For the first time, I wasn't the only one who knew how to fight.
took me ages to kill him just for his corpse to get stuck in that statue and i couldnt collect the items from him so i couldnt continue forcing me to restart
Kurt is probably the main reason I preferred siding with Reed, even though I initially sided with So Mi. They are both really good endings but you just get so many more badass fights siding with Reed. Even though the spaceport massacre is also very fun

Every knife can be thrown, as for this specific knife I dont remember where did I get it. I think it dropped from something when I was on high level on PL DLC.

Hands tells you he doesn't know who did it, but alludes that it could have been someone he sent, as he'll tell you when you meet in person than he wants hansen gone. But no concrete answer

Some saying he was taken out too easily by Alex?? Uh, the whole point was they surprised him. If she fought him 1v1 like V, she would have lost. Synapse Burnout 2 shot the guy. And Sandevistan + blade / Shotgun can make short work of him, if you have a militech sand. Unfortunately ARs and Smgs are terrible in this game.
If you want to look like an agent then go to the Jinguji Store and buy a suit, look up the location of it on youtube because i don't remember where it was but it is that shop that has secret quest with Max-Tac and cyberpsycho. There is also FIA agent suit in Phantom Liberty. As for soldier clothes then you can get Max-Tac uniform when you finish Judy questline and you can find it in her apartment afterwards. Co do sprzętu to najważniejszy jest Sandevistan z 85% spowolnieniem który można kupić u rippera na około 40 poziomie a jak nie ma to 70% też może być. Kereznikov gen 5. Nogi pod double jumpa no i Mantis Blady. Reszta jest opcjonalna ale ja używałem pompy do krwi, drugiego serca i adapter komórkowy z tych ważniejszych.

This guys makes this fight look a lot more difficult and hard than it really is , he uses some weapons he doesnt even have build for , shoots and waits few seconds before doing anything to prolong the fight
Look at my lvl. I basically had every stat maxed out expect intelligence and I had perks for revolvers, blades, knives, grenades and submachine guns the exact same weapons I used in the video also they added lvl scalling to this game so bigger the lvl you have then the game is more hard, thats why this boss is so bullet spongy for me. Also it looks more cinematic this way rather than just deleting him with few clicks as netrunner. I mean why would i record a video with me just killing a boss like c'mon that would be boring to watch.
Did you use Tier1 weapons or what. You deal no damage at all. This entire encounter takes like 20 seconds with gorilla arms / shotgun build, 30+ seconds for netrunner and basically one Sandevistan use for blade/knife build on Very Hard mode. One of the easier bosses. Even Oda is much harder because he basically can 1 shot you. I don't know why do people go so crazy about "how hard is this encounter".
Love how he is throwing hest seeking impossible to avoid 1000% probability to hit on target knives, bosses arent hard or challenging, its these type of cheap tactics that ruin the experience, very annoying to have to go through the very same scripted animation 3 times.

Nah, you can get Kurt's iconic weapons on both paths. If you run up to that room he watches you from, you can get Wild Dog, Fang, and Bald Eagle.

Mantis blades seem so damn slow compared to the katana, its a shame
Actually they are really fast but only against normal enemies because they speed up when you kill someone.

This guys makes this fight look a lot more difficult and hard than it really is , he uses some weapons he doesnt even have build for , shoots and waits few seconds before doing anything to prolong the fight
Look at my lvl. I basically had every stat maxed out expect intelligence and I had perks for revolvers, blades, knives, grenades and submachine guns the exact same weapons I used in the video also they added lvl scalling to this game so bigger the lvl you have then the game is more hard, thats why this boss is so bullet spongy for me. Also it looks more cinematic this way rather than just deleting him with few clicks as netrunner. I mean why would i record a video with me just killing a boss like c'mon that would be boring to watch.

Bro I was lvl 60 and it doesn't matter, his health is still high asf
Did you use Tier1 weapons or what. You deal no damage at all. This entire encounter takes like 20 seconds with gorilla arms / shotgun build, 30+ seconds for netrunner and basically one Sandevistan use for blade/knife build on Very Hard mode. One of the easier bosses. Even Oda is much harder because he basically can 1 shot you. I don't know why do people go so crazy about "how hard is this encounter".
I was lvl 54 and there is now lvl scalling. I finished the DLC at the endgame.
When I fought him I basically destroyed him in 10 seconds.
Love how he is throwing hest seeking impossible to avoid 1000% probability to hit on target knives, bosses arent hard or challenging, its these type of cheap tactics that ruin the experience, very annoying to have to go through the very same scripted animation 3 times.
