This pastor is amazing! He knows just how we think 😏 the insights he has gleaned, and his own from the Holy Spirit, are so spot on !

These are great. Im working on preaching the first part of Samuel and these videos have helped immensely. I even got ahead of myself but it’s been such a blessing

The power in a pastor’s message isn’t him. It isn’t his ability or charisma or speaking ability. What makes a message powerful is God’s word. The God-given ability to share his word and expose it for the congregation makes for good shepherding. This is one such message. There are still good ministers out there, preaching God’s Word. You must read your Bible and discern His Word when you hear it.
David Guzik is on my short list of preachers I watch on RUclips.

This was very convicting, wow.. thank you for sharing. Praying for the ministry God is doing through you and Enduring Word. On a side note it is so fascinating to hear some of the sermons that are from years ago and the context of what was happening in history during them. In this series you have referenced several current events I had never heard about (I was born in the mid 90s). It has been really interesting looking them up to understand more of the context. 😊

Michal seemed carnal-minded as her father Saul looking for their own glory. Could it be that Hebron, where David reigned at first was where Nabal lived?

Pastor Lance replies - Nabal lived near the town of Maoen in the hill country of Judea and possessed thousands of sheep and goats that he pastured near Carmel. Carmel was far north of Hebron. It's unlikely someone living in Hebron would take their flocks that far.
