⭐️⭐️⭐️If you are having difficulty read this! So the option to turn off comments didn’t appear, even when I made the post public. IN ORDER TO TURN OFF COMMENTING, make it PUBLIC (click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the post, then click “edit privacy” and select “public,”) and then select “done” to save the changes. NEXT, click on the three lines on the bottom right corner of your screen and click on your profile picture when the menu pops up to go to your profile page like normal. NOW click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the post you want to turn off comments on, and the “who can comment on this post” option will be visible.

It appears to have been removed. I was able to disable comments (Im in the US) up until a few weeks ago.

you have to go to who can see this post and put that on public thwn refresh and click the three dots and it will say who can comment on this post

It works!! You need to get to your profile the same way /certain way, and THEN the option "who can comment on post" will pop up. Atleast it did for me, when I've been trying for an hr, and tried months ago and was unable too..
