For those who are in the United States, Michael’s will typically put their planners at 80% off about six weeks into the start of the planner’s first date. The thing to notice though is that they will not put a sign up sometimes or even change the price tag in some stores because they don’t get around to doing it or nobody tells them. Here’s how you can know if they’ve went on clearance, which works sometimes. - put it in your shopping cart now and then press save for later. - As they start going on clearance, you’ll notice the price dropping periodically - HOWEVER Once they reach past 70% off, you usually can no longer search them on your phone, even if you know the item number or the UPC number. It will simply become invisible. The only way you’ll know they went on clearance. (unless you live near a store, just go get one and scan it at the end Store scanner) is by checking your saved for later cart and seeing the reduced price - ALSO - if you update your app or your phone software, they usually just empty out whatever’s in your saved for later if it no longer exists so at that point, it will no longer be effective way to monitor prices. Sorry for the long ramble. I just want everyone to know… Managers are sometimes supposed to take them off the floor once they reach 90% off as they get a bigger write off by donating it rather than selling them for 90% off..

Love this lineup!! The idea of a "ghost planner" is exactly what I need! I keep my day-to-day planning very simple and non-decorative in a TUL A5 sized planner so using my current HP stash for demo spreads would work better for me this year. Plans with Amanda pre-decorated a bunch of planners/spreads for family and friends and I would love to that.
I’m using the koap seasonal dashboard planner. Along with 21 other planners. Most are Tomoe river paper planners check out my lineup. I went a little crazy since this was the first year I could really afford to buy more than 1 planner other than a happy planner.

Oh girl I have 3 catch all planners that will have the same exact plans in them. Just because I couldn’t decide on the papertess designs the take a note and the plans by just scribble. This year I figured out that I also am a horizontal planner but more like the hobo weeks layout. I started the papertess designs in nov and i love it so so so much. All 3 planners have monthly daily and weekly pages. The a5 is a great size. I wish you would come to the dark side of Tomoe river paper planners once you get use to it you will love it. I actually thought about buying the Rosie life planner but in the TRP but found planners I like better.
Girl that TRP, I just can’t with it lol.. Although I will say there were some layouts that I liked better in different shops that were TRP. I know most people that use it really love it but I’m guessing it’s a hate it or love it type thing.
@ listen I didn’t like it at first either. When your used to 120gsm paper it’s a change. But the more I used it this year the more I liked it. It shadows depending on what planner you get but all the planners that I got that have it there is NO BLEED THROUGH. And the paper gets all crinkly. I would say wait till a few months go by then buy one heavily discounted then see if you like it. It might surprise you. Cause I promise I said I would never use it. Now it’s all I’m using.
I'll be using the KOAP Brilliant Blooms dashboard for my verse of the day and any other faith thoughts and things. KOAP Budget planner is new to me this year. It was so different from other budget planners/journals/trackers that I've been looking into. I'm excited to see how it goes all year.
