And this is how a review is done, you can immediately tell that you know what you are talking about. This foundation is amazing, but it is not for everyone, in my case it works wonders on my combo textured skin. I love it, totally worth.
Have been enjoying your videos and your practical and helpful tips on how to apply makeup. I’m wondering if you could do a video geared towards mature women over 50. I’d be super interested in what products you would suggest and how you would suggest makeup would be applied to look your best after a certain age. There are so many conflicting opinions out there. Some are practical and others are very restrictive when I think there are more possibilities even as a mature woman to wear bold colours-like red lipstick for example. Please do something tailored to Matthew women😊
I’ve requested it before, but please do a clean makeup tutorial (I’m interested in RMS, Ilia, Kjaer Weis products). I’m sure lots of us would appreciate it, especially since your looks are often natural and soft and ‘match’ with these sort of products. 🌿🌾
Doogy Dog I appreciate your reply, but I’m not interested in beauty balms, I’m interested in clean makeup that has no junk in it. Any regular foundation combined with some oil will still have its ingredients in it. Bobbi brown, for example, is not a clean brand.
Doogy Dog girl, you need to chill. I actually did understand your point, but clean makeup covers also eye makeup, lips, cheek colours. It’s not just about foundation. And by junk I wasn’t reffering to preservatives only, there’s a shitload of other unnecessary stuff in most makeup.
I can see how this can be similar to Armani silk foundation. I feel like the Pat McGrath would not have enough coverage for me, even though I’m a medium coverage kind of a gal. Plus the price is really high. Thank you for you review !!
Great review! I too found this foundation to wear quite well. It's definitely flexible so it moves with the skin and prevents creasing. However, I found I used twice as much product compared to my other light/medium coverage foundations. That combined with the insane price point, I personally feel it didn't wow me as much as I was expecting. Thanks for the video!
Hello, I’m 44, and decided to splurge on this for my birthday. I tried for the first time today, and was not that impressed. Like you, I found to I had to use twice the product. I’m considering mixing it with my regular MAC studio foundation being that it is a bit more matte finish.
I just purchased this foundation and was shockingly surprised as to how watery it is. However, it does have good coverage and looks very nice. If you're someone who doesn't like caked on makeup, this is for you, it's very light wearing with decent coverage. It is very easy to apply and perfect for when you want to get out the door fast. I was thinking about returning it this is my second day wearing it and I'm liking it even more. And now that I know it has added benefits for wrinkles, I think it's a keeper.
I tried this over and over again and had so many problems. If you wear 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen, this just smears (I left my sunscreen sink in for 30 minutes). Once it took me 15mins to get this blended. Once powdered, it looked beautiful...but, it settled in my lines and pores. I even tried it again today, and finally decided it was too much work and not reliable. I heard she created this for make-up artists - so thinking this is best on skin 15 - 28 years. On the other hand, the Kevyn Aucoin balm looked amazing on my skin.
Andreea, you’re the first makeup artist on RUclips (that I know of) who talked about shiny eyebrow situation. Thank you for that, as for this foundation; I think I’m gonna pass..can’t justify spending that amount on a product that won’t even last me a few months..
Thanks. I’ve bought this foundation too and am struggling to determine if it works for me or not. It seems different on every application with different primers :) your review gives me more to think about.
Thanks for the video! This is a great foundation and I think that is totally worth the price point. It looks amazing in pictures and the glow on the skin is priceless! I LOVE IT!
I have just watched the review from Tati and soooo happy to see the one from you :) Thank you so much for that! And please film a video of the look which you are wearing in this video, it's your signature kind of look which is just perfect for an everyday look :)
I discovered your channel roughly a month ago. I appreciate your serious approach to reviews. Turning 50 next year I find many highly subscribed RUclips makeup/skincare artists distracted and disorganized in their posts and they end up coming across as repetitive and often sound silly. I do not want to waste time hearing "you guys", expletives, and overt shock and awe statements. I'm sure there are many people (based on the number of their subscribers) that enjoy those videos and that is marvelous...we are not all that age and if I was in my 20's I might like that as well. I'm just glad to find an intelligent, competent, and highly skilled artist that appeals to a more mature audience! (P.S. One does not have to be older to appeal to a mature audience. Some youtubers that I mentioned earlier are not in their 20's yet gear their speech and behaviours to that demographic. Hate to end on negative sounding note...this channel is just something I've been looking for and I love that we all have an opportunity for so much variety! ❤)
I have it I love it! Makes my skin look lovely! Lasts all day and my skin still looks pretty at the end of the day! I love ALL of her line. The eye shadows are ethereal...
Armani Luminous? If yes, the Luminous Silk is creamier, has a dewy finish and although LS photographs really well, the Skin Fetish is unbelievable in photos. I think Skin Fetish also lasts longer than Luminous Silk.
Nice job reviewing. When you added the contour and then the powder., everything started to look one color without much definition. Probably because of the oxidation and the powder color.
Always informative and entertaining to watch you. Thank you. Question about the foundation brush: how does it compare to the it cosmetics one? Thank you! 💋💄
and the foundation brush reminds me of Zoeva 102 Silk Finish. The Pat McGrath one looks just a little bit fluffy, and Zoeva one is more dense. But can't say how it feels like though
I love your tutorials, your techniques have been so helpful. However, I have an allergy to Vitamin E/Tocopherol; which is in everything. Dior was my goto foundation for years until they added tocopherol to their formula. I have very fair dry skin and have been using Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in Opal with a drop or two of Rimmel's Good to Glow highlighter in Notting Hill Glow to add a little vibrance to the finish. I use a brush to apply my foundation mix after I moisturize. Now to my question, do you know of any foundation that is specifically formulated for a pale/dry combination skin that does not contain Vitamin E/Tocopherol. The products you use are very luxurious, but almost all of them contain Vitamin E/Tocopherol. What I am using is working, but I would like a foundation that glides across the skin more smoothly. My makeup routine is devised out of necessity rather than a selection of specific products based upon their desired results.
Cheryl Owens-Long Hi... do you have a sunflower seed oil allergy? I do and that type of vitamin e commonly comes from sunflower seed oil in cosmetics... it’s so frustrating because I feel like everything has this type of vitamin/oil in it! Was wondering what products you use that work for you?
@@KZ-pt5qk I have been concentrating on the Vitamin E which I know causes really awful reactions to my skin. I will take notice of sunflower seed oil when I purchase my next foundation. Hi, I would like to know your opinion: which one ist the better foundation? The one by Path McGrath or the il makiage foundation? Thank you very much, Karin
What was that KVD brush and would you say it's a dupe for the PM? Also one other little question. Do you feel that those brushes made a difference the previous days when you didn't use them?
I definitely saw it oxidizing. This foundation reminds me a lot of my Chanel Vitalumier Aqua. Thin, oxidizes, alcohol to try down. Almost like a liquid pigment.
I’m lacking big time at drugstore products. Why would you feel bad? For not wanting to spend 68$ for a foundation? None of us want that! It’s my job to have the best out there, but I promise I’ll make a better job at getting more affordable products.
Ali Andreea if you guys want to see an amazing youtuber who showcases a lot of drugstore products- then please check out Jaz Up My Style! She is amazing. So are you, hun! Thanks for this video.

Hello Andreea :) I love your videos a lot! I'm new to make up and you have helped me a lot with your smart tricks. I have a request please. I'm a warm medium tone and my eyes are the opposite of yours (popping out) can you please make videos for this kind of eyes and suggest what could we do if our lips is hyper pigmented/ dark cause lipsticks doesn't good on it as it looks on my hands when i try it in the store. Thanks and much love
Hi Ali! Your videos are great, very useful! And you are beautiful! Could you please do a video on a skincare routine? I've changed a lot of different products, but couldn't settle on a routine yet. Greetings from Italy!
Buna Andreea , vreau sa incerc un fond de ten nou . Acum folosesc Chantecaille in culoarea Camomile dar este un pic inchis si se strange pe ten. Tenul meu este gras dar si uscat in unele zone . @@rosamariav_09 apparently both are good for normal or combo skin, one has a natural finish while the other is full glam, I want to try CT one too. Good luck with your search!
Idk what I’m doing wrong, but when I try to use a brush to apply my foundation it leaves brushes strokes and when I try to even just ever so lightly buff in my foundation it lifts it up and removes it . I have pretty good brushes I use Sigma F80 and I have Luxy and Cover FX as well as IT and Hudas brushes for foundation they are not extremely high end but not cheap either. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong I’ve watched video after video and I do exactly what they say and still it leaves marks or lifts it off . I’d appreciate any advice from anyone that has has an idea to help me. Also I use high end foundation not This one though it’s a bit to pricey for me. BTW you are so beautiful and yes I’d like to see how you did your eyeshadow it’s gorgeous.

I wouldn't be a goddamn bit surprised if it turned out companies formulated foundations to oxidize on purpose for a healthier look when women are choosing foundations that are too light for them XD
Hi Andreea, I watch your RUclips videos a lot, because I love makeup but I am not a pro . My favorite makeup artist RUclips videos are you and Lisa eldredge, especially I love her lipsticks collections. But I also love path McGrath lipsticks collections too, you are right her products are very expensive but good quality and very chic and feminine. could you please do a video of her lipsticks collections, I have three beautiful colors of her lipsticks, two are my favorite ones, one is beautiful red and the other one is beautiful nude, like the one kim Kardashian were. I really appreciate you do a video for that look, and tell us what kind of red lipstick good for that skin tone, and what you think about path McGrath lipsticks collections Thanks Andreea
Andrea i have to say that all of Pat Mcgrath is so overprice. Can not beleive that Her products are so expensive. More than Chanel, Dior...in Canada 90.00 plus taxes 😾😾I love you beautiful ❤💋❤💋
I am no expert but I saw PM invested so much in marketing it’s crazy! Those money had to be added on top of the product so no wonder is that expensive. Unfortunately consumer is paying at the end for everything: product, packaging, marketing, pr , everything.
I love Pat mcgrath very much. I have all her palettes... All of them. But i don't know about this foundation..... I don't like alcohol but i love dior backstage. And i know you like it but it doesn't look good in the video on you, considering the great skin you have ( i follow you and see you without foundation many times). I have see you better with other foundations........ As for the brushes, you should try Soniag brushes girl.
I love you and your reviews! But heres my two cents.... anytime soon make up companies will sell the glove to grab the brush that puts the product. The price point that make up has reached is sickening, if you can afford it good for you, but honestly.....its makeup, not a life saving device! We all need as consumers calm the make up down. I’m not saying don’t buy make up, but honestly.........
That foundation has bad reviews.. and when has good one you can see from the video that doesn’t look great 😂... I like your content, but I knew you will say that is a good foundation because you say that about everything you get in PR. I get it that you need to grow, but integrity has a role too. I want to see a video of yours with fails 😅.. I really do!
She just said she had bought the products and they're nothing extraordinary and doesn't think you have to have it if you already have a foundation you're happy with.
What video did you watch? She said at the beginning of the tutorial she bought herself. I can get your point about people just wanting to grow no matter what the price is at end, but I've been watching her for a long time, she's not one of those people.
You probably watched the first 5 seconds on my video and you jump into conclusions. But it’s fine, cause comments actually really help me. People who actually do watch my videos know better. So, thanks for your comment!

And i know you like it but it doesn't look good in the video on you, considering the great skin you have ( i follow you and see you without foundation many times). I have see you better with other foundations........ As for the brushes, you should try Soniag brushes girl.
Have you used her eyeshadows?
You did a great video, exaustive and detailed as always ,but this foundation is really too pricey !
😘😘
11:22 you are so cute!!! 😂😂😂
I tried it, but it didn't do anything for my skin. It behaved like a basic drugstore foundation and I like my Wet N Wild Photofocus better.
Wet N Wild looks so heavy on me!
Honey what is on your nails?
😍😘😍😘😍😘
Dior backstage does not stay so much on me as on you.😑if i use a primer i should not use a moisturizer before? Too many products?
(Spincat541 🌺) you make me laugh so hard sometimes ❤️ I’ve always been curious about Pat McGrath eyeshadows. Have you tried them?
Yes! Really good but very expensive! There are great eyeshadows out there less expensive.
This was a very beautiful video. You seem so sad this week. I hope nothing important. Have a good day.
Aw thabks for your worry but I’m just serious :) that’s all.
@@AliAndreea Ok than. I hope you have a nice weekend. A nug kiss from Lisbon.
A foundation that’s $68, with alcohol as the fourth ingredient...no thanks!
All alcohols are not bad for you
Absolutely love your videos but this is a deal breaker... NOT CRUELTY FREE 😡🤬
She said she bought it herself actually.
She just said she had bought the products and they're nothing extraordinary and doesn't think you have to have it if you already have a foundation you're happy with.
It has a lot of good reviews actually
What video did you watch? She said at the beginning of the tutorial she bought herself. I can get your point about people just wanting to grow no matter what the price is at end, but I've been watching her for a long time, she's not one of those people.
You probably watched the first 5 seconds on my video and you jump into conclusions. But it’s fine, cause comments actually really help me. People who actually do watch my videos know better.
So, thanks for your comment!
