We are off to this hotel in September but chose half board which I think will work for us as we don’t eat much at lunchtime. I’d read fairly scathing reports about the the food but to be honest we will probably go out a couple of nights to eat and hear you’ve shown will do us for the rest, as long as I’m not cooking I don’t care lol! We got a real bargain for half board so although it doesn’t appear to be 5 star as one would expect I think I’ll be happy. Glad to hear the cleaning in the rooms is good, that’s one thing I’m always aware of. I’ve loved watching all your vlogs of Kefalonia and now can’t wait to go!
Great, so pleased you enjoyed all our videos on Kefalonia. It's absolutely stunning and really enjoyed filming going around the different places. I think as you say if you got a good deal and half board suits you then that's perfect, I think you will be ok with things. If I am honest, something I didn't really touch upon on the videos but I wonder if the drinks are better when you are paying for them also?, just an impression we got when there as the first thing they ask before you even order is your room number...wonder if it does make a difference between half board and all inclusive?. We had lovely weather in Kefalonia but not overpowering heat, which think they have had since. Do you know, I know about Captain Corelli's Mandolin but never watched the film, I know set on Kefalonia...will have to watch when I can.
