It's just that media wants to show things differently so that make money which is sad but that's the reality. I can't say I'm 100% sure because I just saw some comments in another YT-short where people commented that he talked to the ref and the comments had thousands of likes which makes it a pretty trustable comment. However, it's almost certainly BS, and besides, the alleged moment happened after the handshake - so he must've forseen it, LOL. I think if Ruud really did that Rune would've punched him. Ruud said Rune was bitter because he told him he was asking for every line/mark call to be checked, and because he lost I guess.
Why did he give such a better handshake to Wawrinka? They even kept their conversations private at that game seems to me. Holger has amazing attributes and no one likes to lose but come on.

Players such as Rude and Alkaraz will always do well initially but when players have faced them a few times and there is something to 'lose' and a 'reputation' to uphold, it gets a lot lot harder to dominate. Novak, Nadal and Federer are not the 'norm' and a complete and utter anomalies of tennis.
I always thought that Rune had the skills to avenge his loss to Ruud. But after seeing his mentally weak match against Wawrinka, maybe he just cannot handle playing against people he had a beef with - and fold. Time will tell.
If I was Rune’s coach I’d say ‘Mum, stay at home. It’s time for your boy to become a man.’ You would see a far more mature player out there in a matter of months.
