EU also has the shortest time spent singing/rapping with Mia having right under 5 TIMES her time. Legit I have nothing against Mia she is talented af but why are they turning this into Mia and friends when they got so many talented members? EU killed the short part she actually got.
I agree but that's just kind of how kpop is in general. The amount of Mia in this song make me think that the other members vocals didn't fit those parts of the song well enough and it all fell back onto her, at least that's what I would hope (Rather than the company just having a big Mia bias, though she didn't have nearly this much focus in the debut). EU definitely has been very backseat in terms of vocals/lines in both this EP and the last, but she's at the very least had a lot of dance focus in the choreo. Aisha/Onda had almost nothing in their debut compared to others, and now finally we get to hear more Aisha, and see a lot more Onda in choreo (And also Yerin who barely exists in this track beyond the hook). I hope their next comeback puts Onda's vocals and EU's rapping more in focus because they are definitely the main two who have had less than other members as of this comeback. EU did have writing credits on the first EP though, hopefully she does on this one too!

Tbh I feel like it wouldve sounded a bit weird if they swapped out some of Mias parts. Still fine, but Mia definitely fit the sound better I think. Also, Mias only real killing/standout line is the latatata. EUs rap has a larger impact than mias rappish parts. Yeah, still a bit unfair, but I dont think its that bad if you look past the numbers

everglow has really become one of my favorite groups! every member has such a unique look and attitude, which makes the group even more interesting!! this comeback also has to be one of the strongest this year, the song, the vocals, the rap and the visuals were all on POINT! they really popped off with this. also i totally agree on the Kill This Love statement you made about Adios being what KTL should have been.. KTL was definitely missing something, and everglow brought that. not to compare of course!!! but i do think this fit perfectly with everglow and their style !

I completely agree that KTL seemed unfinished. There wasn't an impactful chorus like DDD. It seemed like it was leading up to a strong chorus but it was too weak for me. This song drew my attention from the first listen.

Openly criticizing a blackpink song? you're a brave man. I completely agree w/ KTL being too empty. it had good elements but the producer dropped the ball, and i think the producer of this song had the intention of making their idea of "KTL but better". (Whether or not that was actually achieved is up to everyone's opinion/preference though of course).
It is VERY similar to Kill This Love. It sounds like Me by CLC and Kill This Love had a song baby
