- Well there is still plenty of rogue officers out there, and the thing is they are not realising that when they are being filmed they should be on thier A game. Unfortunately because they cannot always bully and intimidate members of the auditing community they fail miserably and it certain shows.
Members of the public also need to understand that they cannot take the law into thier own hands.. Filming is a legal activity and photography is Not a Crime. PINAC.

Ive been in the Paris Metro at a time of actual terrorist alert, there were armed soldiers in green camouflage uniforms down there, they were standing in corners and recesses out of the way. It was an armed presence you could not ignore but they did not obstruct or attempt to interfere with the public. These 3 female police officers were obstructing and greeting the public in a way that would be at best annoying. They could have stepped back creating a police presence but not interfering with the public but they were looking for someone who would react to their being there. They were auditing the public and you were auditing them and they didn't like it. You had a right to record and a right to remain silent, they had a duty to identify themselves, report that they were recording and to accept a complaint from the public. The uniformed railway official who told you not to record on railways property didn't know where railway property began and had given you an unlawful order, in frustration he assaulted you. In failing to take proper action over the assault he had witnessed the police officer lost all credibility and should be sacked. How many assaults on members of the public by uniformed officials go unreported even when witnessed by the police because everyone in a uniform gets thin blue line protection ?

I watched the relevant clip very carefully. It clearly shows those poluce officers approaching you as the staion manager assaults you. To deny they witnessed the assault is a clear breach of their duty as a constable. This needs to be challenged and those guilty of such should be dismissed from the police. Lying and failing to deal with a complaint of assault is 'misconduct in public office' as a minimum.
Those officers are a disgrace.

That red light flashing is to alert staff that the building is currently in lockdown & to do what, I don’t know but it’s probably either to come back later or enter the building “the other way”. I did read once that there is apparently a discrete door on the northbound platform of Vauxhall tube station which provides an entrance into SIS..l

In my defence, I live in Edinburgh and I have been house bound/ cut-off from the modern world for over a dozen years. So I am genuinely confused; more so due to the police policing that building. It is always the same , aggressive, reaction. Surely that pavement is owned by the council? And, if so, it is public property . his being the case then they have no right - at any time - to stop, question, detain , nor arrest you for public photography. Is this the case here?
