I just used fruits, french bread, assortment of crackers, brie, gouda, goat cheese and a variety of cured meats. I also made chocolate covered strawberries

We never had a problem with flies. The food is kept covered until the last few minutes when the clients come

I thought cheese, fresh fruit, and meat weren’t included in the cottage food list and had to be prepared at a restaurant? I’m afraid to make charcuterie for my business but I don’t feel it makes a difference if I pick up the food from a restaurant. You’d still have to make sure it stays at the correct temperature before serving right? Please let me know your experience with the licensing requirements if you’re in California.
