honestly that was exactly how my best friend and i acted before being both in couple with a boy. we confessed many times later that we were in fact in love with one other but never wanted to tell because we were afraid of destroying our 10 years friendship. we’re both in love with someone else and i don’t have feelings for her anymore but we’re still as close as before and i’ll always prioritise our friendship before anything else and i call her “soulmate” because she truly is, so i think mingyu and wonwoo are also soulmates platonic or not we’ll never know but they are so close to each other as if they couldn’t live without the other and it’s simply so beautiful. anyways their relationship is amazing and i hope they’ll always remain best friends
