As a 3D artist who has had to rig and animate a 6-armed character before, the rigging sucks but the animation (while being lots of work) is so much fun.
You guys killed it, literally the first thing that stood out to me on the 12 person activity were the hands breaking out and making cool attacks. Well done!

Dude the way the witness worm things tear out of the enemies and the bodies flop to the ground is frigging amazing. On release day I spent like 10 minutes just trying to make it happen so I could watch it.
I absolutely love the Witnesses attack animations, especially his slam! Watching the two arms converge them come down is always so satisfying. You guys really killed it
Whenever i first saw the witness back in witch queen i wondered how the flowing effects would look in game on stuff like the arms. It was really cool to see in the raid that the arms that stick out are 3 different arms intersecting.

i can't imagine the amount of freedom the witness gives for attack animations, like we dont know anything about this character and the devs kinda killed it (good way)

DX I don’t care what anyone says. The witness’ animation are peek gaming graphic. They are so smooth and elegant. Alien yet so human. I wish we had gotten more of him before his death. Even more lore of his people story. How his powers of shatter/glass work.
The husk stun animation is kinda hard to read. Really similar to their death animation. Makes me feel like they're going to pop before their health runs out. Really love the rest of their animations though, like their grenade throw and larva spawn
Drawing hands is hard enough, I can't imagine what it's like animating multiple interconnected hands doing fuckin Naruto jutsus at different angles

for me, I would say Animating hand is easier than drawing a hand (mainly because i cant draw)
