Best Korean film ever!! it's not the typical love story you see or hear everyday, though the movie is comdey it still catches your heart and makes its own way to touch and melt your heart in some way. It's pretty rare to see a film like this WITH NO KISSING SCENE OR BED SCENE but still you'd love watching it every single time! haven't watched the HOLLYWOOD VERSION, but I guess nothing compares to this film! even they remake it hundred times by other counties! ASIANS got the BEST FILMS EVER!!
Watching this young Ji Hyun and the present Ji Hyun makes me think that she's a natural beauty. She's really beautiful even in her younger days. I've been watching kdramas since I was a kid since they show it in the Philippines and I'm a kpop fan for 4 years but this is the very first time I became a fan of a korean actress. I admired her as Cheon Song Yi. Now that she has an upcoming drama, I will wait for it. It's also my first time anticipating a Korean drama, it's all because of her. I usually watch kdramas only when there's a good feedback about it. :)

i'm gonna have to agree with you. although i didn't notice it at first, now that you mentioned it, it actually is pretty easy to tell that she's not playing it... she doesn't even end at the right time, unless the video's messed up... it's easy for the editors to just add in the music during the editing process, just like they did with the ufo in 'the girl, the old man and the tree' scene!
The lighting, music, choreography, acting, actor and actress are so perfect each one compliments the other the result is one of the most beautiful love stories ever . . .
With this movie, I just became a fan of Cha Tae Hyun & Jun Ji Hyun.....After this, I also watched "Hello Ghost" starring Cha Tae Hyun which is also a great movie...ending is so emotional
This movie was incredible..the comedy and romance was amazing. If you think this is good, if you watch windstruck, you'll be crying because for a guy like me that hasn't cried for 4 years was easily moved by 'windstruck' which I thought was somewhat relevant to My Sassy Girl since they both use the main characters.

I think you can get this Korean movie quite easily from any VCD shop. Alternatively you can buy from amazon or some online auction. It is called the Sassy Girl aka 野蛮女友。

The guy uploaded the story when he met the girl. it got a huge attention after the story became so popular. there are 3 parts in the movie and first part is almost same with the real. 2nd part is half true & half fiction & 3rd part, i think the film makers added however.
Just saw this movie like a week ago with some girl friends of mine. As a guy, even I thought that this was pretty cool/touching... All the girls I was with however were sobbing. So to any guys, be forewarned - do not watch this film with your lady friend or else the bar has been set very high!

everyone plays Canon because its a beautiful piece. And you even if you deny it, i know deep inside of you, you know that Canon is overplayed because its a master piece.
officially, windstruck was not the prequel to my sassy girl, but it had some similarities. for example, the platform at the end and her playing the piano. but in my sassy girl, her boyfriend died of drowning and not a gunshot. also, her ex-boyfriend and her met when they were in high school, in windstruck they are much older. there are a lot of continuity errors, so it's not considered a prequel.
you might think that jeon ji hyeon does not know how to play the piano. but actually, in this part, she plays another version of canon. this was shown at the ng's of my sassy girl movie.
