This tech has existed since the 90's (Materialise is one of the leaders in the industry, do my thesis there) You can print plastic or clay impregnated with metal and sinter that in an oven, that is a technique you could do at home, however it would be very porous. So yes metal printing is possible at home but high quality parts usually are from industrial applications.

A p80 kit is gonna be everything other than the receiver. The receiver needs to be purchased through legal channels because it's the part that needs to be registered with the FFL. It is highly illegal to print a receiver. Depending on how you buy the rest of the parts you might need additional machining done to shave parts

Metal 3d printing uses metal powder and a high power fiber laser to fuse the material. For each layer the powder is wiped across the build platform and the laser welds the material together. The technique is also used for other 3d printing like Nylon, it’s called SLS (Selective Laser Sintering). Also serialization of firearms is really complex for stupid reasons, for something like the Sig P320 since the gun is modular there is a firing system inside which is serialized but the polymer frame, the slide, and the internal barrel mechanism are all not serialized. For a Glock it is the polymer frame (though often from the manufacturer the barrel, slide and frame are all serialized to match)

Small suggestion on sound - gating to absolute silence sounds pretty weird, the background noise becomes a part of the speakers' voices. It's OK to leave some background noise in, feels much more natural and doesn't bother anybody.
You know how sound guys record "room tone" on sets? That's what it's for.

3d printing metal is a mix pf metal and plastic. After its printed you put it in a kiln to melt off the plastic. And fuse the metal parts, it can get more complicated but yeah thats the low level of it.
There are 2 metal 3d printer types one has metal particles mixed in with the plastic filament and the other sinters a metal powder with a laser

A p80 kit is gonna be everything other than the receiver. The receiver needs to be purchased through legal channels because it's the part that needs to be registered with the FFL. It is highly illegal to print a receiver. Depending on how you buy the rest of the parts you might need additional machining done to shave parts
