The original cast still do want it to happen and it still might but no one is sure, there is a spin off show, and only ms darbus (who will mention the characters from the movies with had a recurring role in it) the show will be called Madison High. The show is said to be airing this year, but there is also talk that even though it was planned to air this year that it wont....so idk we just have to wait :) search wiki
