As a matter of fact, the type of beats that Pop Smoke used to make drill songs on are UK drill type beats. Some of Pop's earliest hits were songs produced by UK producers.

The thing here is that in Spain we don't have pure drill, all what we have are mixtures with North African rhythms: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia etc. Also we don´t show weapons cuz here in Spain we have a moto: "who takes it out is to use it, not to showing it". You know, in USA would be something like: "if you have a big truck it is to hide what you have small". Things have to be shown in the streets, showing a machete in the video doesn't scares anyone, and u know french are all know through the world for being a litlle bit femenine, so that's why they are showing weapons + the spanish police is more efficient than the french police (national police, not talking about special units) so having a weapon here is more difficult. Then, the reason why we don't use masks in our drill is because drill music is filmed, apart from for obvious reasons, as a sign of power and respect so It's no sense to respect someone who doesn't even have the courage to show their face, who are you hiding it from? from the police? Do you think they don't have 57 photos of you in the shower or what?
Some people could get in trouble with justice for being seen on a clip with weapons/drugs, I think it's called being on probation
