Use the button forward of the trigger. You don’t have to reverse it. The forward button is a spring release for the blade to return to the top it its cutting position.
I've been using this for years cutting 3/4" sch 40. All the sudden its making the smallest lip on my cuts and making it impossible to insert into connection pieces. Any tips? It is very frustrating.

For that kind of money the cuts should be straight and square. I was thinking about buying one but now I'm not so sure

Put little primer (cleaner) on the blade and around the pipe before cut it.
Use a file to clean the end up
New blade?

Great content, great review. keep em comin. But for 200 bucks i think ill stick to my sawzall that can do much more
I bought this so I wont make a mess with my sawzall or have to worry about cuttings in furnace venting
If you don't do residential plumbing, you'll be fine with the sawzall. Messy but effective. Ty for the tips.
They should have a manual that tells you there's an allen key
Why price
My mother has never done a review on a drill
