There's a really dope live video of these guys on here, I came across years ago, but I can't find it now......and it doesn't help that there's another Japanese band called Nightmare - they're nothing like these guys. haha
I don't own this one, but I have their self-titled 7", which is almost completely Japanese. In general, their verses are in Japanese and they sometimes throw English phrases into the chorus. This is pretty common amongst Japanese hardcore bands. For a point of reference, I'd point to bands like Articles of Faith and Fugazi -- not explicitly political like MDC, but exploring how the socio-political landscape shapes the self and how to break out of norms and use your life-force to create a positive influence. I know the "life-force" word choice might seem odd, but it's a really potent theme in Japanese hardcore. Words like "spirit", "soul", and "life" are really essential in most Japanese hardcore bands' lyrics. Most Japanese punk lyrics read like friendly, heartfelt, and extremely honest advice, to be honest.
I know the drummer and guitarist both are what you expect of a post 70s punk band ,trying to bring back something thats been done a decade ago , should have done something new 10 a penny crap
