In such a scenario, I don't think the Western Allies would've said anything about Germany moving in to reclaim its eastern territories as Poland collapsed.
Except that Germany possessed no ability to take any of their pre-Versailles land without the military to back it up. It's honestly more surprising in this scenario that the Soviets didn't keep going after Poland since that was the Bolsheviks' intention.
@@polskamapping6116if the bolsheviks kept on going into germany i think realistically there would be a entente military response as the rhineland was entente occupied so their military would be able to respond
@@LittleK1ng I don't doubt the Entente would have secured the Rhine and possibly a bit more of Germany, but even then they were drained from WW1. The comment I was replying to said that Germany could just move in to "reclaim" their pre-WW1 lands which made no sense.
@@polskamapping6116 soviets would have also taken all of balkan lands and only stopped in front of the entente.

The main problem that Soviets face in almost all timelapses if fighting the Western Allies is their inability to control the Baltic sea. Allied landings in Estonia or Finland distract substantial amounts of Soviet forces which prevents them from achieving breakthroughs in Germany. Even if Soviets manage to maintain control of Denmark, it somehow can't help them with keeping Allied navies out of Baltic sea.

@@tomaravlic5730Well yeah that’s cause the Allies were historically way stronger than the Soviets post-WWII. America & the Allies lost very significantly less men in the fighting, while the Soviets had just finished fighting a death war where a significant amount of its population died & much of its industry & infrastructure was destroyed. If the Allies were caught off guard, maybe the USSR could’ve conquered continental Europe, but the Allies still would always be able to defeat them in the long run

Russia was already industrializing before the October revolution
Stalin brought said industrialisation up to 50, of course with horrific casualties as a result of this slapdash breakneck approach. Without him, the USSR's industrial base would be weaker to some extent.

No, it was Weimar Republic or just Germany (it's true Reich in German it's just Empire but Germany was a democraty after ww1)

@@Alexandre-ni1if "Weimar Republic" is a name used by historians and scientists, and it was used by soem publicists but it had never been the name of the state. Name of the state in 1870-1943 was Deutches Reich, and in 1943-45 Grossdeutsches Reich.
Reich means Realm, let's not get it in our heads that the Nazi dictatorship had any overriding claim to this one word in the German language.
