Hi Scott! Love YS tea tasting videos! I've personally noticed what you talked about 红茶 being almost watery when it's too fresh. I'm happy to learn from you as to why I would taste that. Thanks for sharing! Always thankful to learn more about tea. I have some YS 红茶 from 2017 and it's delicious. Thick, sweet, and fruity. Also been exploring Taiwan Sourcing and absolutely loving it! Such incredible teas! 😁🍃🍵👌💯
I just had a thought about the word mindful when you mentioned Eckhart Tolle’s view of it. Perhaps another way to look at it is that your mind is so full of the real sensations you’re experiencing that there is no room for wandering thoughts. Looks like another great tea! It’s getting close to time for me to make another order so perhaps I’ll give this one a try.

I think it has to do with water content... but not 100% sure
