I started pokemon tcg around 3 months ago, and specifically avoided any charizard or pidgeot because I knew this deck was coming. It feels really nice to have the pidgeot and prime catcher, it opens up a lot of deck options that I've been playing online exclusively for so long!
Picked this deck up last week and it’s fantastic. Like you said, great value cards that can be used in a variety of decks. Def my favorite pre-con starter deck.
Thanks for the video, glad to know this is out there. I just got back into Pokemon tcg and I watched some of the masters finals to see what deck I should play. I picked charizard but the deck list was $50 not including prime catcher so I had to pick a different deck. I would love to learn how to play charizard and get that starter deck and customize it.
Pidgeot ex x2 and Prime Catcher alone cover the cost in US so I bought it just for that. Completing the zard build was about $25 after the deck, 10 being Fez ex(already owned tho so 15 for me) Highly worth the price IMO and locals is about to flood with it shortly
Only downside to these IMO is the deckbox, I'd happily pay 5-10 more for a plastic fold-out box and some cheap sleeves. I know they're supposed to be for mid-range players, but most people buy LBDs to start playing and those items would be better for new players not wanting to buy multiple products.
This is my favorite deck for sure. I will open this up once I see the hype dies down and play at my locals, Pikachu ex and miraidon ex decks is too much fun

I'm new to pokemon tcg and I'm just hoping I can create a deck based off my 2 main pokemon in Arceus. Which was Skunktank I caught and evolved it from a Stunky and Scyther 🔥 If not then I definitely want a Gyrados based deck

Yes charizard is the best Pokemon especially when I am making a binder with nothing but charmander, charmeleon and charizard cards. Recently just scored the 24” charizard plush from Walmart on Black Friday

Blaziken>Zard PURE bias because blaziken was the pokemon on the first pokemon card I ever got back when I was probably like 6. I still have it till this day
I love Charizard but it was always tough when playing Pokémon blue and red 😅 now tho I enjoy having its time to shine. If I’m not playing Zard EX in TCG I’m using Iron Thorns 🎉
This list ain’t it though, there are a couple cards to change around. I think the lines of cards might be too thick. But if you change around like 15 cards it’s crazy because it is actually broken 😊

As a Miraidon player as well, i added technical machine devolution because it shuts down zard and pigeot. Just a thought

Also sidenote, Char LBD code cards don't grant past the initial first one anymore and they doubled the gem cost, the TCGL exploit is joever

I picked Charmander from Firered Version I used to play when I was a kid. Pretty fun game and nostalgic 🙂

Charuzard is a great deck, but in my opinion it's little bit boring. I like to play the uxie-azelf damage spread.
