    You should do the comparison. Are you switching from gel ? Also have you tried court ff 3 ?

      I've used all of them but I'm not switching away from my Vapor Pros quite yet. That video will be out soon.

    Thanks for the very comprehensive review. I'm looking for a quality lighter shoe than my Court FF3's and these might be it. I previously used the Court FF 1 and 2 (my favorite), both of which are lighter than the FF3's, which are a solid and stable shoe, but heavier than I like.
    BTW, I loved your on-court shots taken from my home court next to the police station!

    Love this review, an honest assessment of what it loses out to to the previous version re lateral stability and durability, as a chronic ankle roller i reckon its out for me but obviously alot of performance on offer for those who trust their ankles! Love the 996v5 for thus reason lightweight but kinda straddles the stability category with a very hearty lateral flange. And yes please to an all asics show down/ run down

    Nice, Please make a comparison between the speed FF3, vapor Pro (alcaraz shoes not the new one) and NB 996.
    they are in the same class!

      I can't review the previous Vapor Pro but I could do that with the new one (my shoe of choice BTW).

    regarding size, I would like to inform you that compared to the previous generation (ff2), the ff3 is a bit roomier and longer, if someone prefers a more snug fit, size 1/2 (at least) down. probably the lack of plastic and the use of more mesh and textile is the reason.

      Hello. I wear size 41. In this model, do you think 41.5 would be ok including socks? In Gel Resolution 9 I use 42

    • @GLouverd
      @GLouverd 9 месяцев назад

      @@danielpinto1980 yes, i wear 46,5 on res9, on solution ff3 with even thicker shocs 46.5 seems bigger, longer and roomier. definitely 1/2 down (at least for my case)

    on solution speed FF and FF2 I broke the rubber on lateral side very quickly, but love the snug feel and the lightness of the shoe

    Hey Luca, another great review, thanks for all the material - very helpful. Quick question. How does the width compare to the previous model? Diff subject are you doing an RF01 review on its own? Thanks!!!

    Hi Luca, thanks for your great reviews! Would you say the Solution Speeds are good for grass courts? I’m from Australia and we are starting the grass court season. Thanks

    Hi! when you say it's not stable for lateral movement, is that a problem on hard court only? what about this shoe on clay, will you be even more prone to roll your ankle? Thanks

    • @RacketsRunnersVancouver
      @RacketsRunnersVancouver  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, technically you would, but I still think this shoe would be fine, just maybe not as good as some others.

    My speed ff2 have lasted for 6 months, how long do you think this ones can last me? Not sure if I’d rather buy the ff2 again or sacrifice the durability with the 3

    • @RacketsRunnersVancouver
      @RacketsRunnersVancouver  4 месяца назад

      Admittedly it is quite a bit less durable, I would say about 75% of the FF2.
