    Hi bro. Many youtubers are suggesting not to choose python to solve DSA problem since they have lot of built in function which decreases logical thinking. Wat is your opinion on that. Suggest few tips bro

    • @Learnwithloganathan
      @Learnwithloganathan  Месяц назад

      Hi bro. It depends on each person's perspective. The ultimate goal of a software engineer is to solve problems and build product efficiently. Even c++, java has built in functions. When using built functions you should know what is happening behind the scenes. For example if you use sort function, you should know it's time complexity. Reasons why people won't suggest python are: it is slow, but most of the compilers in online round will accept the solution if your solution is in required time complexity. And as always, concentrate on learning problem solving skills regardless of programming languages.

    • @Learnwithloganathan
      @Learnwithloganathan  Месяц назад

      For a 3-year experienced back-end developer, the depth of DSA preparation can vary based on the specific role and company you're targeting. Recursion and trees are necessary even for fresher role. Dp and graphs are also impotant, atleast having basic knowledge about there implementations, traversals and solve popular questions.

    • @Learnwithloganathan
      @Learnwithloganathan  Месяц назад

      The problem with JavaScript is that it doesn't have built-in libraries and functions for data structures and algorithms (DSA). For example, in a coding round, if you're asked a question on linked lists, JavaScript doesn't have an inbuilt linked list library. You'd need to implement the linked list yourself, along with all the functions like insertion and deletion. This can waste your time because our main focus should be on solving the problem rather than implementing the data structure.

      Which year you are currently in bro, if you are in 3rd year start with Dsa. If second year either
      1. Explore development for first half and in second half start with Dsa and do projects
      2. Learn Dsa first and later start with development and daily practice problems and attend contests.
      Hope this cleared your mind.

      Your point is completely valid, as I said lot of people have done so you can also do it. First start learning Dsa concepts thoroughly, spend learning concepts on weekends and solve at least one problem on weekdays, and understanding the problem is must. Start with easy problems and only if you feel comfortable solving them increase your difficulty level.
