Jenae; I knew most of your troubles that you have with your eyesight already from different things I have picked up over the years. At first I thought that if someone couldn't see well with the glasses they had on all they needed to do was to go to the eye doctor and get stronger glasses. As I grew older I learned that the minimization from the stronger glasses minimized what the person saw, and wile they technically could see what they saw was so small that they could not make it out without getting closer. Your vision must be better than 20/40 with contacts in order for you to drive, and to have that with the strong glasses you need is very good. You seem to have adapted fairly well to the hard contacts, and that is good as long as you remember that hard contacts are not as forgiving as soft ones are so you can't wear them at all if they start to hurt, but I think you know that. As far as losing your glasses off the night stand, if at all possible screw a hard glasses case to the night stand and place your glasses inside every night. And I am sure that when you meet someone when you are wearing glasses for the first time, they have quite a shock seeing your strong glasses. But you look very good wearing glasses and you need them, so never be ashamed. You are what you are. Sorry for being so long winded.

I’m always interested I wear really strong Biconcave myodisc eyeglasses my biggest fear is when I wear my contact’s and one could pop out when I’m driving my car if that were to ever happen I would be in serious trouble could get in a bad accident 😬😬😬😬

What is your best corrected visual acuity. I.e visual acuity with glasses /contacts
How many hours a day do you use your contacts ? Im high myopia too but ultimately im having problems with contacts i think im gona need to use back again glasses 😢
I were my contacts all day long. Sometimes I take them out after a few hours. It just depends on the day.
I'm 20 n my power is -8 ....😢

Look up the Bates Method. Dr. William Bates was an ophthalmologist who developed relaxation exercises and improved his patients eyesight in the early 1900s. People have had success with it even Meir Schneider who was born legally blind and can now drive a car with no glasses. I myself improved with this method and you can too. You will need to do a lot of palming and try to not use your glasses unless you need them. Reduce your prescription by about 2 diopters when you do use glasses and adapt to using less prescription. You're very pretty by the way.

Don’t do that. He’s a fraud. That makes eyes worse. A diet rich in vitamin A, C, D and E, exercise and drinking lots of water. No smoking or alcohol at all.

I'm really interested in what it's like having high myopia! I'm just about -4 and feel like that's bad so I can't imagine being -30! Can you show what its like to do some things without glasses like reading different texts, using a phone, doing makeup, anything you can think of? :)
