Just binged watch this whole series 10/10 I own a black R3 and it's my pride and joy, A good upgrade is using Redline gearbox and diff oil, which made a huge difference on my car. Another is poly bushing car, especially the diff mounts. Best of luck with Roy may he have high compression for many years!
Congrats on the rebuild and thanks for an absolutely brilliant series. The first start at 10:00 sounded absolutely brutal - I was on the edge of my seat!! Good luck trying to keep the revs down until it breaks in :D
