SxS On Steelbender And Injured Motorcyclist

- Received a call about a SxS on Steelbender that had a broken steering rack. We met the customer at the trailhead and went in to get it. We passed alot of motorcyclists on the way in. After getting the tires back on it and loaded on the trailer we headed back out. We ran into the riders again and they had a guy that had wrecked and hit his head pretty hard and broke his arm. He was very in and out of it so we got down and me and Lilli took him to the hospital while Shawn and Mike u loaded the SxS. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Thank you for this excellent video! Wow, the ups and downs of the elevations and the Terrain that you and your team have to navigate is remarkable! Every other hill and valley tells me "Yep you could flip your vehicle here!! And you get to do it going in and dragging out a disabled vehicle. Dang impressive. Carry On Sirs.

Excellent vids, I pride myself on being able to do trail repairs but you guys as my daughter says the bomb…
I remember when Rory explicitly said that the need for a Jeep was to pull people on easy recoveries like from a sand dune. Next thing you know it is used to pull anything from vehicles that fell into canyons, it carries people and acts like an ambulance. It is like a super jeep that goes everywhere you go, especially now with more hands on cameras.
Lilly is adorable as always. Bunch of dudes turning wheels and stuff and she is finding things that can only be found through eyes of a child... which means for all the wheeling she is not losing most important job of being a kid... still.
I hope Moab stress and rescue people provide you guys some free training because you never know... today its someone with a broken arm... tomorrow might have to do CPR or something.

The off-roading community reminds me of the boating community. When you're out on the water and someone needs help, whoever is closest does whatever they can to help out. Same out in the off-road environment. You're a good dude Rory; even if some subscribers think you should have a one-vehicle fleet 🤣 You keep bein you. You're doing what you love every day and thousands of people appreciate you and your team must the way you are. If more people did what they loved every day, the world would be filled with more happy people and be a better place.

I appreciate your regard for the natural environment and concern for those drivers who willingly neglect this aspect of the sport. The scrub, brush, and desert biome, if damaged, can take decades to recover, if it ever does. Scars in the natural landscape may be witnessed for generations having never been properly restored.
I see Lilly has her mobile office all set up in the back. Good to see the brains of the operation doing some field work.

After watching this one and thinking. What would the bureau of land management think or say if someone would find a way to grade the trails to fill in them washouts? Maybe get a side by side and a V snow plow or put one on a truck and use it to grade / groom the trails screwed up from the rain wash outs?

Someone should advise those motorcycle riders they need to watch Dan Dan the fireman he sells a motorcycle first aid kit that comes with tourniquets that can be easily made into a arm sling first aid for bikers but also good for automotive rescues has pamphlet to show how to handle such a situation

Hahahaha in about 6 months, some guy will show up at a random garage asking for motorcycle grip throttle on the steering wheel. They'll tell him that they dont make those, then ask where he heard about it. "I seen on youtube"

I watched Matt’s last video the other day, and was thinking about the Tow Truck Olympics. Rory truly has no competition. I’ve never watched Merlin, so maybe there’s something there, I don’t know, but those other guys aren’t off road wrecker operators.
Also, that guy should have bought a Can Am. Those RZRs always break. If the Can Am breaks, he should get a Kawasaki.

havent been on steel bender in 5 years, the last couple summer monsoons have taken their toll on the trails and down town, kane creek has really changed for the better in terms of challenge, once again thanks for taking us along, and keeping the moab thoughts alive during the off season

Another fine job in the history books. Slick rock can be very slick. We took a biker with a broken arm to the hospital in 2017. I always think about her when we are there. Thank you for all you do for that community and us visitors to the area. See you in Jan at WJJ I'll be bringing cookies I promised when Rory answered Nick's call when Don's Jeep rolled in Aug.
