Dude watch reacher season 2. The subtle anger that you’re describing from bond/batman is why I think Alan Richson is perfect for this role. He’s nailing that in these first few episodes. Also getting major detective Batman vibes from his reacher performance.
its funny how he also emulates Robert Pattinson's detective sort of attitude in "The Batman" as Reacher he emotes so well in silence, when he's angry or confident and even sad.

Alan Ritchson was great as Aquaman in Smallville, and also played Hawk titans and of course Reacher series that I really really enjoyed that show. I'm down for Alan Ritchson be playing Batman 🦇 in DCU 🙏 I mean who knows maybe we'll see

You need a "famous" guy for Batman.
How can you not pick him as Batman if you've watched Reacher? The dude literally played Reacher as someone that was 10 steps ahead of the cops and intelligent and was detective-like. Literally took out like 6 guys at once in the prison bathroom and thats just one fight. Its hard not to think of Batman when you see the fight scenes that happen in Reacher.

Definitely want him in DC just not as Batman although I can swing. Honestly he'd make a okay superman but I think Aquaman, GA, GL is perfect. You just can't have him bigger than Sups. Big BMS fan.
Jensen Ackles is too old, rocking in at 45 years old now but in time for the release of "Brave and the Bold" he'd be 47. if batman is going to be a key part of this new DCU universe then we need an actor that can stay long term.

@@Superherocutz Soo I remember when Reacher season 1 came out. The fans really loved it and Ritchson was amazing as the title character. Better than Tom Cruise imo, which no offense to him but the way Reacher was written and described in the books he sounded like Dolph Lundgren in his prime from Rocky 4. Now, someone on a Batman fan page on Instagram had commented that Ritchson would be perfect for Batman. Due solely to Ritchson's physicality in Reacher. Tbh like many I was mildly annoyed by this. Actors like Ritchson have always hated getting type cast for thier size. Unlike most actors that have his build Ritchson can actually act. This was more evident in the college humor comedy show; Blue mountain state. Don't get me wrong he is a good actor, but he would not make a good Batman. If anything we should just leave Batman alone. Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and Robert Patterson. In all honesty I think the character should be black listed from Hollywood at least for a decade before we recast another actor and film yet another Batman film. Honestly Ritchson could be Guy Gardener or even Rick Flag,(since James Gunn is rebooting the DC film verse). Hell, why not wildcat? Or Azriael? He can even be Orion, Son of Darkseid. My point being, fans of his want him as the next Batman for many reasons, with the most prominent being; He is big and strong. To me that just kinda seems lame. Sure thier are many that would argue that he has the acting chops, but I just don't think he would make a Good Batman especially compared to the last 3 actors that took on the role. They all offered something unique and different to the character. Bale helped to refine him as a pseudo Jason borne type of hero while giving us a very subdued Superhero grounded in a crime thriller. Affleck gave many fans the Frank Miller Dark Knight. Brutal and terrifying. A seasoned and almost world weary Bat. Patterson I honestly believe gave us a very perfect Batman. A crime thriller neo noir hero that is full of angst and inexperience but makes up for it with drive realizes he can be more then just a symbol of vengeance, he can be hope, a light in a city steeped in darkness. I love Ritchson but I don't believe there is anything that his casting could grant us anything we haven't seen previously.

I liked the Batman movie but we didnt get a true Batman nor Bruce Wayne in that movie. I think the point was for him to still be trying to figure himself out. Hopefully we get a fully realized character in The Batman 2.
I think The Batman honestly gave us one of the most true to form on screen Batman’s. Like a true detective year one Batman. Honestly his Bruce Wayne was good too, he still needs to work on that public Bruce Wayne ‘persona’ but I love that they didn’t just give us a perfect Batman out the gate. Then there’s no evolution for the character in future installments. I’m very excited to see what they bring.
I think Alan Ritchson needs a Marvel role. He's not campy enough to play a DC superhero/villain.
The thing about Batman is that Batman uses intimidation to get an upper hand. People are genuinely scared of him. This guy would fit that role perfectly. I always hated the line about Batman’s superpower is that he’s rich. Batman brings fear. In The Batman, people were scared of Batman until they saw him. When they saw him, they were not afraid to go after him. This guy would make people seriously think three time about confronting him and those who have already faced him would have genuine fear of confronting him again. I want a complete Batam… the intimidation, the detective, the stealth, the fearlessness, the intellect, the gadgets. We really have not had a complete Batman. Put this guy in the role and send the story to Arkham. The entire direction of DC is falling off. A young Superman with a Batman who is already with Damian as a son? Do these people just say to Hell with the comics? At least Pattinson stated if they add a Robin, he wants Dick Grayson. At least he gets it and it showed in his performance.
