I had put so much energy and support into her and did my best to ignore the insults and attacks until March. We have not spoken, and I am fine with that. I don't know if there is a future, but it was bad. At this point, I have no one left, really.

I have been extremely tired / fatigued for a while now.
I have also been having glimpses of memories from my childhood on a few different occasions. At the time, I even wondered to myself what triggered the memories.
Lastly, I did have to go on to low contact with my mother. She has been such a trigger for me. It finally got to a point that I had no choice. I had to do so for my own mental wellbeing. It has been difficult because of the guilt I feel in having to go to such lengths to protect my own peace. Also, feeling guilty due to her failing health. The hurt she has caused me throughout my life can never be repaired. I know this is what is best for me, but I still feel guilty. It’s a lot to try process and reconcile.

We make our fate, and our destiny is recieved by our progress. We can't stop the bolt in its determination, but not everyone dies when they get struck by lightning.
