Interesting take on implementation. Can tell me why you're using agile\scrum methodology rather than waterfall. I would think that with basic vanilla software without heavy modifications some customers would be more comfortable with predictive project management. Thank you for the video. Good Job.

Thanks @larry. There is no specific reason to reference Agile/Scrum. You make a valid point that Predictive approach may be better suited for plain vanilla ERP implementations.
But in some cases, specially retail businesses, the market dynamics and nature of business, do have an impact on the stability of requirements.
In those cases, a predictive model may not be best suited.

@@TechcanvassAcademy I agree, when requirements are largely unknown or always changing, or when the implementation requires a lot of modifications Scrum or Hybrid is the better choice. That's assuming the company culture can accept the scrum mindset. Good Video. Thank you for the response.

Hello I'm a BA with 3 yrs of experience and I want to jump into SAP world but I'm not sure which one to pick. Could you suggest what certifications should an Intermediate BA should go for. If you can just provide me the names that would be great. Thanks

There are several certifications in SAP. But considering you are a BA, you would like to become a Functional consultant. So you choose modules like FICO etc. to learn SAP. FICO specific certification is this - training.sap.com/content/sap-fico-training-overview
The full list of SAP Certifications is - training.sap.com/certification/validity

I work as a sap abap consultant and I really want to switch to sap business analyst job role. Can I switch to BA role, if yes how can I prepare myself and my resume for the same.

      Hi Debashish,
Yes, you can switch. In SAP world, you may equate BA to a functional consultant. So, you need to learn the product and the modules like FICO etc and also learn the BA skills (like preparing solution design document etc).
That should help you in becoming a BA/Functional consultant. Hope this helps

In addition to learning a SAP module or two, you also need to learn BA skills like Process modelling (For AS-IS and TO-BE modelling ) and documemtation skills (for gap analysis and solutioning). That should be a good starting point.

Hi Techcanvas, thanks for sharing this useful knowledge. As in the slide, you mention a BA gets requirements from client for a specific report, in details, will it be different from other requirements? Any specific method should be applied for it (ex: AS IS- TO BE gap)?

For reporting, prototyping can be used.
