@Scott Allen just my initial reaction when she said "how, physically?" after asking Norm how she could stop AJ from talking. I might've missed it if she did during, but if talking is persistent after an objection she certainly can.

Folks, we have a classic example of a Strawman Fallacy here. She did not basically ask "how to control her own court"- and the record will reflect that. She was asking the defense counsel how THEY suggested she manage it- they didn't offer much- so she asked the leading question about "physically preventing him" to establish what they though she should do... She established last week that she was ready to hold contempt on the spot. Today she basically gave every opportunity for this witness (who is also the defendant) to follow proper courtroom conduct... And now the door is open. She was basically asking "do you want me to hold him in contempt" but phrased it in a way that allowed for SOME other option.

I don't think she is really trying that hard to. She is letting Alex's own words hang himself while still making it look like she tried. The more he riffs, the worse it is for him. It just makes him look worse and worse to the jury. Look at it from the Jury's point of few. If they didn't know Alex before, they do now and they must be saying "Now I get what all the fuss is about, this guy is a nut job".

He wouldn't shut up during objections- had many warnings.. she asked defense what their recommendation was- they didn't have anything specific. She already said she will hold contempt on the spot. The door is open now- they want the court to control the disrespect... I feel like tomorrow... the court will control the disrespect.
