20 dollars says he won't be able to stop it tomorrow. It'll be forgotten when he leaves the courtroom.
He wants a contempt charge so he can be all outraged about it on his radio show. His audience thrives on seeing more reasons to “fight the tyranny of the Deep State!” FFS. Wish this didn’t play into his lucrative hand so neatly.
@@marjieestivill Well, the good thing about this is that NOW some, or A LOT, of that lucre can be extracted from him, by law....neatly.

She's saying Alex Jones is a child, has an infant's capacity. His lawyer is passing the buck basically admitting he cannot guarantee Alex Jones will stop interrupting.
He will never be able to control himself. I see a contempt hearing in their future.
Alex Jones reminds me of my 7-year-old trying to debate me about how long he should stay in the tub

I really, REALLY want this too happen in the case. She should start with the mist setting first to see if the sound is enough to startle Jones into compliance. If he is still unruly then move to stream setting before you have to have a contempt hearing.

Sounds like there’s going to be a contempt hearing tomorrow lol
The Jones lawyer wants the judge to object on his behalf if Jones answers when the lawyer's too late to object. I feel sorry for all judges who have to put up with such lawyer shenanigans on a daily basis.
This. They need to coach their client better but it's ultimately Jones screwing himself over.
that lawyer is scratching at the walls knowing this is going to be his last case
I am shocked by Alex Jones own attorney just asked a judge for help to control Alex Jones outbursts.
It is obvious that Alex Jones own attorney is in capable of controlling him and I feel the judge should just give them both contempt of court fines until they both learn that they need to control themselves.
cmon man
I'm not a lawyer but this is incorrect. She can't "object on his behalf" ... but she can tell him to stfu for a minute so she can sustain or overrule the objection
these lawyers are BOLD AF. he literally blamed her for the outbursts yall are so rude to anybody smh🤦🏾♀️
How about I ask you leading questions that are out of context, and you can only say Yes or No LOL this Judge is a Clown with a bias
@@3949zxcvbnm While I dislike a lot ob out the plaintiffs attorney, leading questions are exactly what he should be asking. It's the additional commentary and misrepresenting evidence that bothers me. He is baiting Alex Jones into violating court orders and asking questions that open the door to those court orders. A lot of this will go smoother once Jones attorney gets to do the questioning.
Rule 611(c) provides that leading questions are generally not allowed on direct examination, except to develop a witness's testimony.

He's a Sociopath. And a pathological liar, and his lawyer is a buffoon.
Its been a mockery. Suing someone over giving their opinions is unconstitutional.
Psychotic people do feel remorse. Psychopathic and sociopathic don't. Psychotic just means you are hearing or seeing things that aren't there. Nothing to do with remorse.
OMG his lawyer is so insane. You want to defend your client, but that often means protecting them from themselves. All he had to say was "Your honor I'll consult with my client, won't happen again". Then when it happens again you can feign and maybe buy more time. But nope, he decided to try to gaslight the judge "My record is clear." Now the judge is putting him on notice. Just total amateur work.
Take a pill
He said that earlier in the day, but there were like 4 times since then that Jones went off the deep end. Honestly, contempt should have been on the table the 3rd time the judge reminded Jones to, "answer the question asked and do not editorialize or pontificate further "

Pattis is a shithead but he is giving Jones a competent defense as he possibly can IMO.
I saw the hearing, nevertheless the lawyer was lashing out at Jones. I'm against Jones, but if you get yelled at you respond the same.
We are going to get a contempt hearing for sure.
She gave him a day of warnings after stating on the record she will hold him in contempt... she has the grounds to do it and I think she will
can and will* not automatically
That proceeding was a sham
"No more outbursts or else!" Or else what Judge? Gonna charge him another billion dollars for having an opinion? lol
I really hope the judge puts alex jones and his lawyer in jail for contempt of court
Didn't the attorney tell his client the rules? "If I object to the question you're being asked, stop immediately and Do Not answer." Duh.
Hold him in contempt!
I’m so surprised jones hasn’t had contempt charges
The judge is the one in the courtroom that can hold a witness in contempt of court for continuing to speak. But she is not doing that. It's like the lawyer and judge keep throwing the hot potato back and forth to each other....No one wants to claim the power to stop the outbursts.
Judges typically don't like to criminalize what would otherwise be a civil matter between private parties. They tend to use contempt as a last resort.
Most rude and DISRESPECTFUL lawyer. Yuck!!!
A circus 🎪
What a circus
Contempt, contempt, contempt!
She's told him to shut up 100 times.
They still havent decided on what to do with him yet?
And his lawer calls himself a professional! 😂😂😂
He needs to go to prison.
Jones has to answer questions, unless his lawyer objects. If his lawyer is slow to object, or Jones doesn't shut up when he's told to shut up by his lawyer, THAT'S ON JONES.
It's nit the Court's job to stop Jones from saying things "that might be used against him".
Ooooh! So that's why he didn't show up today.
I object! For something! But I don’t know what! Lol
Sounds like the lawyer needs to reel his client in. If the dude wants to ignore his lawyer and keep talking, then it’s fair game.
AJ is squinting his eyes like he's high.
There is too much ego floating around that courtroom it’s childish the way jones and his attorney act this is not grade school!
Restricted to talk at your own defense trial. Banana court 😋
Man, I remember Darrell Brook's judge was able to stop him from speaking and even cited court rulings supporting that responsibility. This is a different state, but I'd think a judge has the responsibility to interrupt a client answering questions over their attorney's objections. It just makes sense to me.
Where's the contempt charge judge?
I concur zero tolerance this disorder and lack of common Civility is a direct question in Prosecutor's case.
well it is odd that they could ask leading questions- but he is a hostile witness based off of the discrepancies from the deposition. Its kind of a bizarre situation- but they wouldnt have called him otherwise
It's simple. Throw them into jail for 30 days, immediately.
This clown of a lawyer needs to be checked, big time
She must be so frustrated
How about “No more childish tantrums ALL THE TIME! Take responsibility for your behaviour and greed, and accept the consequences of your actions. NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING TO YOU. It’s all your fault Alex. Smarten up and grow up”
Judge: How do I handle a grown man who acts like a spoiled kindergarten brat.
She should be disbarred for this. Allowing this to be a circus when it comes to hurting Alex Jones, but when it’s his turn to defend himself she threatens to sanction and super restrict what they can say and do.
Don't you have a gavel?! The judge basically said "how do I control my own court"
@Scott Allen just my initial reaction when she said "how, physically?" after asking Norm how she could stop AJ from talking. I might've missed it if she did during, but if talking is persistent after an objection she certainly can.
Folks, we have a classic example of a Strawman Fallacy here. She did not basically ask "how to control her own court"- and the record will reflect that. She was asking the defense counsel how THEY suggested she manage it- they didn't offer much- so she asked the leading question about "physically preventing him" to establish what they though she should do... She established last week that she was ready to hold contempt on the spot. Today she basically gave every opportunity for this witness (who is also the defendant) to follow proper courtroom conduct... And now the door is open. She was basically asking "do you want me to hold him in contempt" but phrased it in a way that allowed for SOME other option.
Leave the poor 4 yr old alone.
Baby Jones doesn't know better
Judge, "it's not my job to control YOUR witness, but that's what you're asking me to do?", AJ's ponytail attorney, "yes..". WTF !!
Or else what?
She ABSOLUTELY CANNOT HANDLE THIS TRAINWRECK
I don't think she is really trying that hard to. She is letting Alex's own words hang himself while still making it look like she tried. The more he riffs, the worse it is for him. It just makes him look worse and worse to the jury. Look at it from the Jury's point of few. If they didn't know Alex before, they do now and they must be saying "Now I get what all the fuss is about, this guy is a nut job".
Alex Jones is on something during this whole day.
Freedom of speech. Leave Alex Alone
It's the LAWYERS JOB to control his client.

This shouldn't even be a case 🤡🌏
This is incredibly biased. The defense says objection, the judge doesn't respond, and then the attorney immediately asks Jones another question. Yet, the judge blames Jones his attorney, not the attorney who doesn't wait for the judge's response.

Just lock him up for trying to be funny and disrespecting your court room already
It has been played out out beautifully today- the door is open. He wouldn't shut up during objections- had many warnings.. she asked defense what their recommendation was- they didn't have anything specific. She already said she will hold contempt on the spot. The door is open now- they want the court to control the disrespect... I feel like tomorrow... the court will control the disrespect.
