In US news and current events today, today, former Vice President Joe Biden announced his VP running mate for the Biden 2020 election campaign, Senator Kamala Harris. Biden has long been a colleague, friend and rival of Harris, as seen when Biden swearing Kamala into the Senate in 2017. The Biden Harris 2020 campaign comes after a brutal battle during the Harris Biden 2020 primary, but as election 2020 rolls around, the two have buried the hatchet and will be a formidable ticket in the upcoming 2020 presidential election, which could result in a President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

I would say starting in a couple of days. There are two newly elected Senators from Georgia who need to be sworn in. Senate will be in session after the presidential inauguration, so it will be Kamala Harris who will swear in Senator Jon Ossoff and Senator Raphael Warnock from Georgia.

Edit: apparently not, the certification deadline is January 22th. So Harris will swear them in.

Compare Biden's flaws with Trump's. Biden comes across as a genuine, positive, relatable, and compassionate type of leader. Trump is petty, spiteful, and divisive and that's likely gonna be his legacy. I hope America learned something valuable from the Trump era.

So let me get this straight. The VP elect’s ( just finished watching their speech after they were declared the winners of the election). Her husband is a talented lawyer. Her sister is a Stanford Law grad and considered the “Next RFK” who is married to a U.S Associate AG under the Obama Admin. That’s just her husband and Sister. I’m not gonna talk about her Indian side of the family. That’s a lot Brain power in that picture.
