this deck had a 67% winrate for me from rank 20 to rank 5. Gets deleted by hunter and warrior on average but yog sometimes bails you out and plus, it's fun as hellllll

When I saw this live, I had to instantly craft the deck. Pre-nerf Yog is bae and having 4 chances of doing it in a game gives me life.

Speaking of old gods, I know its wild format but I just tried out a C'thun quest Shaman and its absolutely insane. I would like to see what you can come up with for that type of deck
Btw the main part of the combo is a 3 drop that makes the next use of your hero power free. Itll stay active after you end your turn too.

I've been using all your mage memes and I've been winning. I've lost also because I suck but I have to get used to it but it does take skill and luck.

I'm playing various versions of this new mage deck and I'm wondering whether anyone tested running only either puzzle box or pyroblast. To me puzzle box doesn't seem that exciting if one is aiming to improve their winrate, I usually use it only as a fuel for the King. Is it worth running at all? Pyroblasts at 5 mana just provide so much burn and are often the only way I can close the game against other controls.

Hey guys I came back to HS after a long time, last expansion I played was the frozen throne one. I had some dust and bought packs from this expansion, I really like it. I like this deck and the legends don't seem like they absolutely need to be there. I think I can craft one of those, I should have enough dust between all the necessary epics. is any of them necessary? If not I will go for Zilliax as it seems to be played in many decks.

Don't think I lost to a control/big spell mage because of puzzle box. I lose to them usually because of pocket galaxy into king phaoris into conjurers call or insane power of creations. Puzzle box has by far the lowest winrate in every mage deck when played.

Anyone that doesn't want to spend $100 on virtual cards should know I have a 63% winrate (51-30) with murloc sham. Its the best I've ever done, getting to rank 7 so far (casual player). I have payed ZERO dollars to get this. Also I'm not using the newer "Nightmare Amalgam" since I don't have the dust. It's fun to destroy people on turn five that have a deck full of legendaries.
Big Quest mage: play 10 spells that cost 6 or more and the reward is hero power play 3 random spells with random targets "Yoggs eye"

Puzzle Box doesn't stop after Yogg is dead and it can be played up to 4 times. Yeah, of course it's better than Yogg
But due to power creep, the old championship winning yogg druid is a meme deck by modern standards.
At least fun can be had again after the nerfs obliterated Yogg.
Just throw Dr. Boom Mad Genius into the hall of fame and concede that hero cards with infinite value hero poweres, permanent passives AND free armor are a bad idea.

Kripp, you can't play an RNG deck and then complain when the RNG screws you over.
Can't wait to play incomplete meta decks in a month or two after I get one or two legendaries from daily quests. The decks are far too expensive after this expansion, I dont remember this happening to this extent before.
Yogg is RNG personified. My opponent took ten damage to his face and got pissed off because the RNG didn't go his way...lmao.

Honestly I hate Control Warrior as much as anyone else, and now Control Mage has topped the winrates. It's almost like you can't actually build a deck around your opponent getting random cards in order to win.
I know what you're thinking "Rogue can and it's not topping the ladder", that's because rogue gets random ANY card. Mage can narrow down what it wants or even just discover a good card from a narrow pool.
Yeah, I'm bitching about random chance in a card game but when you can't even plan around what your opponent is going to do/get... it takes away the fun. And that's why everyone hated Control Warrior and every mage running rune.
It's true the hatred for control warrior when LPG is so dam strong is kind of dumb. But ohh well...

Do you compare Plague of Wrath , tomb warden , restless mummy and flunky with Untapped potential (quest drood in general) , Reno+puzzlebox+tortollan pilgrim ,all the new priest cards,all the new shaman cards , zoolock vesion 6 ??? Only rogue players have the right to complain . Warrior got nice additions but defo could live without em . So blizz should just cut the crap and understand that 95% of the card changes they've done so far are an abomination . We are talking about the same ppl that put iceblock and conceal athall of fame and gave us brightwing and that 7mana beastcaller instead 1 year later just for the lulz lmao
