  • Have you ever wanted to dive deep into the history of rum-making, from nineteenth-century retort still distillation to the mythical muck pit?
Join David Wondrich on a remote ramble through 200 years of Caribbean heritage to the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, conducted by the passionate duo of Alexandre Gabriel, owner and Master Blender, and Don Benn, Master Distiller, and get a look at their incredibly rare Vulcan Triple Chamber Still.
Then venture on to Jamaica’s Clarendon and Long Pond distilleries with Kevin Barnett, Plant Manager, and Craig Nicholson, Super Intendant (Long Pond) and Flovia Riley, Production Manager with Robert Gordon, Master Blender (Clarendon), as they provide a compact crash course on Jamaican rum history.
Produced by Jules Dee Klis for Maison Ferrand.
