I found going around the top part difficult as it kept bunching up, eventually I did get it. I hand basted around first, which seem to hold it together better and then machine sewed. I suspect if I make a couple more it will get easier. Thanks for the pattern.

I love this pattern, its very cute. However I guess I dont have enough experience because I found myself stumped.... I pressed the fusible interfacing to the backside of the outer material, but found that I could not press the edges down and have them stay because the sticky side pressed to the backside of the material... therefore when I went to press down the quarter inch around it... it didnt stick. IS IT SUPPOSED TO STICK? If so, should I have had a double sided interface that had the "sticky glue" when pressed? I apologize, Im confused. OR do you just press it and let it be throughout the assembly? Ive watched your video over and over and havent figured it out. It looks like you pressed it down to fit the fusible. So sorry for my dim wittedness! Just trying to understand. THANKS! I appreciate the sharing of this pattern!

I'm not sure what she uses but theyre both great machines! I have several machines. Try craigslist or marketplace for a used one if you're new to sewing that's what I did. Honestly you don't need anything complicated - I like my non computerized ones better.
