youre saying this as if the girl is bad for not having feelings back, they are friends, you shouldn't become friends with girls with the sole purpose of dating them. that is so unbelievably fucked up to the girl bc its like have ulterior motives and that's deceitful. Since her only intention was to be friends and she made that clear he can either get over his feelings, be honest or walk away. There is no need to pretend to be friends in the hope that eventually she'll feel the feelings too and be mad she won't like you back. I hope he learns to move on and find a girl that he can properly communicate his feelings to.
