@Zombiesaur My brother's character died outside the room and he didn't get the trait unfortunately. A little too many bugs in this game but hopefully it'll be cleared up soon. Trait is life steal btw for anyone curious.
@@Zzuccif your talking siphoner (lifesteal) you get it by clearing the bugs in the time limit not by dying outside. I shot them all in solo and received the trait
@SirHollywood44 ah, I didn't clear them out, I went into the secret room and fought the hidden miniboss, and I got siphoner. The Meridian puzzle is so funny. Once I unclogged that pipe I thought there would be a way to raise the water level, I even noticed the floating planks, but just never found it and gave up. I never thought I'd have to wait 90 minutes.
The "Merciless" Long Gun is pretty amazing too! You can get it from Yaesha if you started at The Forbidden Grove. All you need to do is start the fight with the Ravager and do NOT harm the Doe. When the Ravager's health drops to half, he will run to eat the Doe. Do NOT shoot him while he does that, and let him chomp on the Doe. Defeat him once he's done, and you'll get the "Crimson Membrane" that crafts the Merciless. Its an amazing AR that has a Railgun-like Mod where the shot penetrates foes and increases base damage.
Doesnt matter if he chomps on the doe or not. You can simply kill him and get the same reward. Hitting him does not affect the outcome of the reward - the reward is granted due to how you initiate the fight. Simply shoot the Ravager to get the Crimson Membrane. For the plasma cutter, either the Ship or the Facility can spawn in a single playthrough. So if you get to the second overworld zone and see the crushers, dont bother looking for the ship. But if you dont see the crushers, you probably got the ship.
@Artaxerxes. Or just goto the purple shield place below custodian and see if you have 2 slots available for the keys. If you do, you have both terminus and dormant on your map
@@Ackz89 They're talking about the plasma cutter, not the pulse rifle. The keys are unrelated to the plasma cutter, you need to explore both N'Erud over worlds to see if you can get it, it's unavoidable.
@@Back2Bay6ahh sorry misread. I had issues finding the crashed ship.. the drills weren't a problem but the ship I struggled. Found it eventually in Eons vault
I randomly checked out Remnant from the ashes on the PS4 one day, I saw little bits of gameplay of it, and I decided that maybe I should somehow convince my brothers to check it out, and then we did, we were absolutely hooked, playing the base game, a lot of yelling, a lot of laughing at ourselves dying in dumb ways, purchasing and beating its DLCs, and now we've played Remnant 2 on the PS5 :) I am just in awe at how many secrets there are left to find in the game, eagerly waiting for the next 2 planned DLCs :D
Pulse rifle is probably my favourite non-special long gun in the game. Combined with the stasis beam mod it's the ultimate ranged elite mob shredder, and even works on some bosses.
For the difficultly of unlocking it, and the dps being outdone by the 47... Its just not worth the scrap. It needs a buff, especially considering it took me 10 rerolls to unlock xD
@@youhavetoguessit Blackmaw is amazing, esp. when fired semi-auto, but in full auto the dps is negated by bullet spray unless you get close. I like to freeze elites in stasis and then take them down from a bit of a distance.
I'm so excited for any news of the DLC. I really can't believe how much I miss survival mode TBH. Game is fun but feels like it's something that should of been included from the get go. I guess I can understand there is a lot more to consider with it now with Archetypes in play now. Anyway it's exciting to think the potential we can have here with expanding the game further.

Just finished Apocalypse and now I'm just joining random pug games and helping them with clearing bosses or getting items they might've missed. God, this game is everything I wanted from a sequel to From The Ashes. Edit: The replies are comical.
Do you know if I could join someone like you who has unlocked the Worlds Edge for example by beating the game on apocalypse and just buy it from the Vendor in your Game or do I have to beat apocalypse myself no shortcut?
@@IINo1goodIIwhy the doubt? There's plenty of videos of people finishing apocalypse. I'm personally almost done with apocalypse myself. Don't be a hater my dude. You'll get there eventually
yes it is good at real CQC but the only downside is that if you miss the shots, the reload speed can be very slow because it takes such long time for them to fly back. Was using it to shoot drones in Ne'rud and regret it immediately as my bullets fly to the skies in the background 🤣
The cube gun is my go-to standard weapon for every fight that doesn't include shooting skywards. Unlimited ammo, and with all the heatreducing items you can equip absically shoots forever. Insane CQC dps with unlimited ammo and almost-unlimited holding mouse button is unbeaten by any other gun
PSA the plasma cutter is bugged for 2 phase bosses at the moment. If it kill the first phase the game will bug out thinking you killed the boss and the second phase will not start. only way to fix it is to reroll the campaign/adventure or try and restore from a previous save.
If you want to extend the range of some of these weapons get yourself the Fae Hunter's ring in Losomn which adds 30% range to all your weapons. It's an awesome extender to even the hand guns that have limited range like the Enigma and totally gives you more effective damage with the extended range on anything you're wielding! Unfortunately it's a random drop so you'll need to farm the biome with re-rolls until it spawns. Mine spawned in Brocwithe's Quarter in a back alley.
The plasma cutter is hands down my fav. weapon. Combined with the two rings that increase heat build up time and dmg increase the higher the heat is : its just glorious.
@lorkha4370 the ring is called micro compressor. While it's equipped and the mod on the plasma cutter is active you'll have to reload before it even gets close to overheating.
Plasma cutter is all i need . Both in DPS and aesthetically....i don't care to much about the nightfall, its great damage but looks awful..im all about the fashion souls with a slice of damage and the Plasma cutter is all that and more
Honestly, I like a good ol’ shotgun, something cathartic about seeing the big chunky shell pop out, used the coach gun mostly but switched to fords scattergun recently
I have so many weapons that are better than Fords, but I still only really use fords lmfao. Big agree, I value satisfaction over more damage. Gotta have fun too!!!
a tip, the control room in the quaranteen event dungeon will spawn a corrupted mini boss if you get to the room before killing all the mobs cause you can insta start the "cleansing" of the dungeon
7:50 the mission with a time has a secret boss, if you go to the facility where the control room is before you kill all the enemies you can deactivate the timer and get a elite enemy/boss
Worth noting that Meridan isn't the only explosive weapon in the game. There are several. Also Aphelion is currently bugged, it scales like a boss weapon does with +20% increase in damage every level but upgrades like a regular weapon does to +20. It will probably be fixed at some point.
Nightfall lifetap also feeds into the Medic Prime Perk to refill relics when healing, with reprocessed heart relic that restores 1000 mod power theres a nice feedback loop of getting more mod uptime by using relics and refilling relics by having more mod uptime.
Honestly the best weapon I've found so far is the 'Deceit' long gun. It's a 6-round single-shot rifle and you have to hold the trigger for about a half second to charge and fire, but it shoots two bullets at once. The real great thing about it, though, is the 'Oroborous' mod it comes with. If you activate the mod, you get three swords spinning around you, and it fires one off each time you melee, although that's only about half of what it does. If instead of a regular melee you do a charge melee, it fires all three, piercing every enemy they pass for high damage. All enemies hit by this attack treat every hit they take for the next few seconds as critical weakspot hits. Works excellently against all bosses, especially when paired with the Vulcan turret from the Engineer.
I've just been using the Sagittarius bow. Does crazy damage to weak points. With the few rings I have on and the classes I'm using I can get a weak spot hit of over 2000 and a critical weak spot hit of over 3000.
A cheese for pulse rifle - like the video says, reroll until purple shield place has two slots available (as thats only when the gun appears) then stand real close to the shield and use the trusted high five technique with a friend and glitch through without having to run around clearing dungeons for keys
For the pulse rifle you should’ve added on “while you won’t have what you need, you can still find one of two things you need. If you slot it in, you’ll at least get the core amulet”.
Running the plasma cutter with fully lvld twisting wound mutator and abrasive whetstone amulet for the blled combo. Absolutely shreds when you get those weakspot hits.
Nighfall is proper OP. Hard to step away from that gun tbh. But I actually did a bleed build this morning with the Merciless weapon and mutator +10 mood. IT MELTS 🔥🔥🔥
Damn, so many great weapons in this game! I've started with Engineer class using Pulse Rifle, got it to +15, then I've found the Crescent Moon Bow, got it to +10, great for snipping. Then I got torn between the Nightfall and Merciless, chose Merciless with the bleed mutator, it is very strong indeed, and I just got it to +5 so far!
I still prefer the merciless over the nightfall because it's consistent damage not burst damage. Not to mention the bleed stacks can tick enemies when they become invulnerable or leave the area. Also helpful for detecting enemies/bosses that disappear.
@@biggiecheese2004 "NEW OP BUILD NO ONE HAS EVER SEEN BEFORE" and it's just a hunter/gunslinger using bulletstorm and nightfall and stacking crit like no bro you're not unique, people have known about that build since before the game came out
This is random, but I absolutely love the designs of these worlds. Yaesha gave me godfall vibes, N'Erud with Mass Effect and Losomn giving me eery bloodborne vibes. Such a fun game
This game is so good idk how people don't talk about it more and the best part is that the full game is coop. Coop souls like game with guns is better then any souls game and even elden ring strictly for the coop alone.
It's sad to see no mention of the SMG or Typewriter from the previous games that are great for those who are just starting their run out. The SMG can be gotten via Ford's flashlight item (look at the bottom of it in the inspection menu) and the Typewriter can be found after the Labyrinth is reached and you have the Biome Portal Key (One world needs to be completed for the Typewriter LMG) Edit: I only say this because both of those guns can carry you through the entire game with better customization for the mods on them instead of being locked into the (typically mediocre) boss weapon mods.
Yeah the Typewriter is an exceptional gun. Paired with the right perks, mod powers and class skills it never runs out of ammo and is just an exceptional mid range option.
The cube gun is best if you want infinite ammo, but you have to plan with the distance. Fully upgraded, it does good damage! I found it very helpful in boss fights where you can only find a small amount of ammo!
In the N'erudian facility: if you rush your way to control room within the 6 min timer, you can activate the console. This will stop the timer, and start the boss fight. If in coop one player dies in the facility, but the other activates the console, you get a secret trait:)
4:09 Just to clarify: This is not true. You don't have to land the final blow on the heart, you just have to destroy it in phase one for the alternate kill. She will glow after that. If she grabs you though, after you have destroyed the heart, and this stays true for phase 2, she will get her heart back and stop glowing, enabling you to get the regular kill and locking you out of the alternate kill. 7:38 This is only partially true. You don't need to kill anything. Insider the room where you find the key, there is a console letting you stop the alarm. This will also spawn a special enemie you don't want to miss.
star shot is an amazing handgun if you use the explosion+fire dmg amulet paired with it. non- elites die in one hit and elites take a bit longer but the dot helps drain their hp quickly
Oh wow I remember that spot in the sewers. I shot the blob and saw the water running and thought "Okay there's gotta be something to this." But no matter how much I looked around I could find nothing. Had a feeling there was something over in that area shown in the vid but couldn't figure out how to get there. Never, ever would've thought I had to wait for the water to rise, amazing. Now I gotta remember which sewer I was in lol.
PSA!!! The Plasma Cutter currently glitches bosses if it gets the finishing blow the last boss especially (had to load an old save) but nightweaver as well (skips phase 2) but it counted as never being killed so had to reroll campaign. did some looking around and it seems be a common outcome, so use with care till patched!!!
Deceit is still my favorite gun, as it's similar to the Particle Accelerator of Remnant 1, but it deceit has higher damage, and slower charge time, paired with one ring and it's almost the same, all the matters is the players accuracy. Also if a player uses this weapon and the engineers first ability, you have dps and burst damage together, and can tear apart enemies with relative ease.
Fun fact, particle accelerator is actually in the game if you didn’t know. It unlocks after a nightmare campaign clear and will appear in Brabus’ shop. It’s called “Starkiller” in this game
I remember joining a random coop in Great Sewers and pointed to that area where we could acquire Meridian. Of course, since the ping communications in this game is so poor, I did all possible gestures for them to wait til the area is filled up with water. The host probably didnt know and banned me lol
Yea feels bad man I get kicked a bunch but that’s bc I get lost easily since I’m legally blind honestly wish I could teleport to them if they are at a stone or door so they don’t wait or kick me
@@VisualRift sorry hear bout that man. If my coopmates are already on the world stone or at a loading door and I am still far from them, I just drink that skull thing found in your inventory that will instantly kill you.
@@warriorfromhammerfell1557 all good I completely understand when they do lol bc there is no way to communicate the situation but yea that liquid escape would work true
Heya! ive got a small wierd tip for ya: One of the side areas that can spawn in the sewers of losomn has alot of prisoners in cages "hanging out", when you shoot the one with a purple glow he will drop the Severed hand.. now normally its supposed to end there, you pick up the hand, steal its ring and be on your merry way. In comes the Merciless rifle! for some reason when you shoot him again with the rifle additional hands will drop, giving you the ability to take the ring multiple times.. combined with the scavengers bauble.. enjoy unlimited scrap farm
FYI if you kill Sha'hala the alternate way, N'Erud immediately is inaccessible like if you did it the normal way and talked to the custodian afterwards, so do all the stuff you want to do in this world roll before you fight it, cus you'll lose out on it all.
1:50 effing no way! I thought there is something about that area. Yes, unclog it but nothing happens. I just need to wait for 90 minutes for something to happen. This game! LMAO
good old semi auto shotgun is really good The cube gun is really good as well, has some crazy dmg in its effective range and infinite ammo. Less useful vs bosses unless they are completely ranged but even so, its nice to have a good option when out of ammo.
My latest favorite is Twisted Arbalest or what I like to call Deadly Frisbee. It fire a bouncing disc which can bounce off the wall so if you aim right, one shot can hit multiple time on an enemy. The true damage comes from it mod tho. Just bounce a shot and call the sword down to kill the marked target. Use Bandit mutator and you might not need to reload as well. Really fun gun to play.
I have 4 of these 5 weapons.. *missing the meridian*, all these weapons especially the boss killer Nightfall are amazing guns to use.. pulse rifle & plasma cutter are super solid. Aphelion is a great weapon with little ammo reserves though.. also the merciless rifle you get from the ravager by just shooting him as he asks you to kill the doe.. one of my favorites in the game..
Not exactly on that last point, you need to kill the ravager and have him eat the doe to get that gun, if you fight him, and the doe dies nu a stray bullet you get a different gun
@Mr.Magic_Gadget you can do it with random if you want merciless. Just try to use guns that can't hit critical points, like the lightning pistol, or the grenade launcher, things of that nature.
PSA about the Plasma Cutter, DO NOT get the killing blow on the final boss' first phase, it will glitch the boss and nuke you campaign. Happened to me yesterday. Now my campaign is in limbo because the game doesn't know what to do. So I can't do Adventure Mode on Root Earth and I can't get the last two classes.
I found 1 issue and another interesting thing. Issue is that if for whatever reason you leave terminus station before completion, then the train sequence is bugged and won't happen. An interesting thing is in the dormant facility. If you go into the secret area BEFORE the timer sequence, you will encounter a secret boss, at least I did by accident.
Concerning the Plasma Cutter....it was said that the crashed ship was a very rare spawn. My experience has been opposite. My campaign, and so far, 3 Adv mode respawns of Nerud, and I have got the ship, every time. Still looking for the mining/smashing things....
Also worth mentioning that Plasma Cutter is bugged and sometimes doesn't spawn in the chest. It happened to me already and now I cannot get the downed ship anymore as it seems like a rare random location.
I used the Blackmaw for first area and then pulse rifle for most of the game. Pulse rifle has been great but the most powerful gun I use is by far Enigma.. It melts everything..
Yeah I just found that weapon yesterday in adventure mode. I already had the amulet that gives fire DoT damage to explosions from the campaign run and wondered, 'wait does that work', and it totally does. I'm still in the earlier game but I love that combo, it's really good for one or two tapping mobs as a little makeshift fire/DoT build (with the fire shot mod on my long weapon plus the fire ring you get from the vendor). Though I found out the hard way that some boss arenas and areas can nullify that build if they have pools of water in them - they never ignite or get doused if they enter the water afterward! Still, really cool that this works, and after finding out about the grenade launcher you can get I'd love to try and make a full explosion/DoT build for funsies (just not in any aquatic areas lol).
First time playing Remnant, beat Nightweaverf after like 5 tries and got myself that sweet nightfall, its straight up OP Wherever im at low hp i just use the mod and i just shred through everything on its way, i killed like 5 bosses with this gun and it just destroys everything on its path + that 10% lifesteal is just freelo at this point. Loving the game so far!
Might want to point out there is bug currently that is believed to be caused by the plasma cutter where the final boss bugs out and despawns. Only way to fix it is to restore an old save.
When I beat annihilation with it, I must’ve got lucky. Though I did get a different bug, where I couldn’t skip the credits. That wasn’t a big deal though.
Nightfall has another added bonus. When entering the nightmare realm its very easy to lose agro. I have rezzed many players in nightmare mode with no hindrance. Its awesome
damnit! i noticed the pipe draining water but couldn't see anything below and when i jumped off right away I died, I never would have thought of waiting and returning 90 minutes later
Absolutely loving my Aphelion, but I have killed myself multiple times from the Supernova 💀Good for triggering lifesteal if you hit multiple targets with the beam!
Nightfall with twisted wounds maxed and crit/ weakspot items is straight up op. Its literally carrying me through my hardcore playthrough due to its dps and survivability when Coupled with the challenger archetype. Its Definitely going to get nerfed though!
I have yet to see the devs nerf their weapons. Lots of OP weapons in the first game that stayed that way throughout! Unless they plan to add PVP I doubt they'll change the stats on anything you earn in game.
@@arielb5317 the games only been out for like a week or two so it's too early to make those kinds of patches anyway. They'll definitely be focusing on performance and qol and eventually tweaks because there's a lot of gear that is made insignificant.
Good god man. These devs are incredible and so underrated. Hopefully Remnant 2 cements their potential. I wasn't even planning a second playthrough with my giant backlog but now I'll have to, I feel like I just scratched the surface of this thing.
I don't know if the pulse rifle and laser rifle are linked or not but every time I've had the spaceship I've also had the instance to get the pulse rifle that purple room underneath the custodian if he has two of the silver metal handle things missing that means you can get the pulse rifle. Every single time I've had both I feel like the instances are linked no clue but a heads up if you're trying to get the laser rifle. Makes it a little bit easier my mind because it's easier to go finally custodian in the first open area and see if you can even get the pulse rifle so you don't have to go through and wand around the second area trying to find a spaceship. But I've got it now four times by doing that essentially
The Meridian also may not deal Weakspot Damage or hasn´t a great Crit-Chance, but it ignores enemies armored Bodyparts. My go to Weapon against Enemies with lots of Armor bits.
I got nightfall from my second area and I love/hate it because it became a crutch I used through the entire game and now I just done use it because it's just so good lol
this is a great guide but to be honest 2 at the top on my list at the moment is alpha-omega and nightfall, nightfall is easy to work with and on top of that alpha-omega is super easy to build since you can choose between mod build or damage focus :)))))
Plasma Cutter + MicroCompressor ring = sustained DPS. Toss in Constant Variable ring. Shoot until you're just about out of ammo (make sure you don't overheat here) then pop Plasma Cutters Mod. With MicroCompressor ring and mod up and you can shoot through almost 2 clips without overheating and nuke a group/boss easily. *PS use Deadly Calm mutator on Plasma Cutter paired w/ constant variable ring for up to 40% bonus damage :o
Still using the bulldog shotty. Honestly though I use the gas cloud on weapon switch with the moon sword slash AOE. takes care of most mobs and adds while the guns focus more on the elites.
You can get the water to fill the room quicker by changing the date or time in your PC. I logged out in Ward 13, changed the date to the next day (2 to 3) then logged back in and went back. The room was filled and I got the weapon.
also, desipte not talking to the quest giver, not getting the reward for him for defeating the world boss, not even finding the hole behind him, my entire world was deleted into the alepsis taura just.... genuinely infuriating.
We got the aphelion today. First three or four runs were rough, fifth one we got him to about the middle, then looked at each other, nodded, my friend tagged his orb with that crit spot mod, and we both shot it with a fully charged starshot. Boss health went byebye. *poof* no more boss.
Agreed its undeniably powerfully but has is drawbacks (probably for the sake of balance) I've been using it to open up with big damage vs bosses and switching to a secondary with more utility for the remainder of the fight.
I still prefer the crossbow! It has such a massive one hit damage boosted with various Fire damage boosters. It does 800 normal damage and 1600 crits + Fire burns and since you dont have to be shooting all the time you have time to Dodge and kite the bosses. All of this while the minions give you Neat secondary damage.
for the meridian it could appear in any of the 2 world story lines i found it in the story line of the one true king you just need to find it in one of the dungeons in the city
Star Shot is a good pistol equipped with the right rings and talisman ,this thing hits very hard and does burning damage of about 1,350 per sec for 10 sec . But thing is if you activate the special and have 5 cores active and press fire too close to an enemy or object ,its insta death .
If anyone wants to use the plasma rifle for the final boss, please don't. It's an amazing gun and can carry you to the very end, but there's currently a glitch where if you finish the first phase of the last boss with the plasma cutter, it'll stop the fight and say you beat it but you'll be soft locked in yhe fight. It'll stay that way even if you respawn and restart the game. The only way to fix it right now is by going to a backup save.
Surprised that you did not mention Monarch and Merciless as well as Starshot these three weapons are beasts and super awesome! I beat the bosses with Monarch easily.
Curious what type of damage does the plasma cutter do? Fire? Electric? Standard? There are a few good heat sink rings you can get for it. Any suggestions on what type of mutators go well with it? Honestly, been rocking the ENIGMA as my main and it's so good on it's own. Popping the spikes on bosses lets me focus on dodging and avoiding big attacks while I let it passively DPS and build up more mode power. Pairs great with the mutator that increases mod damage % also.
Plasma cutter does standard damage, as for the mutator I would highly recommend the Battery. Hitting a weakspot gives you a stacking buff up to 50% extra weakspot damage (5 stacks of 10% I thing at max lvl) Considering how fast the plasma cutter procs damage, you can basically get all 5 stacks in less than a second
I got the crashed convoy for the laser cutter on my first playthrough but missed the helmet I needed, I'm in tears after learning this is what I was missing
Meridian isn't the only explosive weapon in the game. The only grenade launcher yes, but star shot off of N'Erud is also an explosive weapon. At least according to detonation trigger, the amulet.
Star Shot's weapon description directly refers to it as an explosive weapon. But yes, Detonation Trigger working with it is also an indicator. I find it interesting that the only explosive weapons seem to be sidearms, though.

@@iamme625 exactly. And unless you shoot the doe, the ravager will always eat the doe - regardless if you shoot him during the killing animation or not.

For the plasma cutter, either the Ship or the Facility can spawn in a single playthrough. So if you get to the second overworld zone and see the crushers, dont bother looking for the ship. But if you dont see the crushers, you probably got the ship.
Ah, thanks for that. N'Erud was the first world I got in the story and had the ship, but could never find the thumpers people spoke about.
Basically you must explore both the Neruds to get it
@Artaxerxes.
Game is an absolute gem that a lot are still sleeping on. Welcome to Remnant lads
When you realize you were really close to finding some of these on your own randomly, but missed them at the last possible second... sigh
Can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me
Pulse rifle is probably my favourite non-special long gun in the game.
I like to freeze elites in stasis and then take them down from a bit of a distance.

facts bro, Pulse Rifle is so satisfying to use. especially with HUGS

The Cube gun is pretty good too. Unlimited ammo that encourages CQC and its mod creates a defensive shield
yes it is good at real CQC but the only downside is that if you miss the shots, the reload speed can be very slow because it takes such long time for them to fly back.
Damn didn’t think of that combo. Gonna put that to use thanks!
Just got that ring! Dude thanks for the tip!
The plasma cutter is hands down my fav. weapon. Combined with the two rings that increase heat build up time and dmg increase the higher the heat is : its just glorious.
Increase heat build up time? Which ring?
@lorkha4370 the ring is called micro compressor. While it's equipped and the mod on the plasma cutter is active you'll have to reload before it even gets close to overheating.
Plasma cutter is all i need . Both in DPS and aesthetically....i don't care to much about the nightfall, its great damage but looks awful..im all about the fashion souls with a slice of damage and the Plasma cutter is all that and more
Use Detonation trigger amulet, explosive ring, Burden of the Gambler, and the ring that increases crit dmg by 30% with the meridian
Yea nightfall makes me feel like i'm cheating fr, the lifesteal on it is too nuts.
I still prefer the merciless over the nightfall because it's consistent damage not burst damage. Not to mention the bleed stacks can tick enemies when they become invulnerable or leave the area. Also helpful for detecting enemies/bosses that disappear.
@leetabern1940yeah and everyone says OmG nEw Op BuIlD and it’s just another class using nightfall

@@erjredeemerso true for returnal
This game is so good idk how people don't talk about it more and the best part is that the full game is coop. Coop souls like game with guns is better then any souls game and even elden ring strictly for the coop alone.
It's sad to see no mention of the SMG or Typewriter from the previous games that are great for those who are just starting their run out. The SMG can be gotten via Ford's flashlight item (look at the bottom of it in the inspection menu) and the Typewriter can be found after the Labyrinth is reached and you have the Biome Portal Key (One world needs to be completed for the Typewriter LMG)
Edit: I only say this because both of those guns can carry you through the entire game with better customization for the mods on them instead of being locked into the (typically mediocre) boss weapon mods.
Yeah the Typewriter is an exceptional gun. Paired with the right perks, mod powers and class skills it never runs out of ammo and is just an exceptional mid range option.
The typewriter seems a little to simmalar to the lmg, but yeah the smg is pretty good

They cover those weapons in another video. But since they are pretty standard to get they don't really qualify here.
The cube gun is best if you want infinite ammo, but you have to plan with the distance. Fully upgraded, it does good damage! I found it very helpful in boss fights where you can only find a small amount of ammo!
If you're a hunter, no need to look further, the Huntmaster M1 is a monster
The sniper from the dude at the range is the best

isnt that the first weapon handled to you?? that thing is doing 400-600 weak point damage and I dont have anything
Careful with the aphelion. It can absolutely destroy your health and your teammates health with the super nova if used too close.
same with the star shot with ignition trigger, flame ring, and blasting cap
Some dude I joined randomly kept using the Aphelion and shooting me in the back, downing me quickly.
Kindred prime perk ftw. 90%, reduction of friendly fire recieved and given.

In the N'erudian facility: if you rush your way to control room within the 6 min timer, you can activate the console. This will stop the timer, and start the boss fight. If in coop one player dies in the facility, but the other activates the console, you get a secret trait:)
What's the trait?
I shot the blob and saw the water running and thought "Okay there's gotta be something to this." Never, ever would've thought I had to wait for the water to rise, amazing. Now I gotta remember which sewer I was in lol.

the last boss especially (had to load an old save) but nightweaver as well (skips phase 2) but it counted as never being killed so had to reroll campaign.
did some looking around and it seems be a common outcome, so use with care till patched!!!
wtf thats gamebreaking, so glad I didnt found the damn helmet but the area with the scanner is present on my campaign.
7:20 didn't know about the secret Cyberpunk cameo in Remant II 🙂
Deceit is still my favorite gun, as it's similar to the Particle Accelerator of Remnant 1, but it deceit has higher damage, and slower charge time, paired with one ring and it's almost the same, all the matters is the players accuracy. Also if a player uses this weapon and the engineers first ability, you have dps and burst damage together, and can tear apart enemies with relative ease.
Fun fact, particle accelerator is actually in the game if you didn’t know. It unlocks after a nightmare campaign clear and will appear in Brabus’ shop. It’s called “Starkiller” in this game
@@biggiecheese2004 that's pretty sick! I'll check it out.

Heya! ive got a small wierd tip for ya: One of the side areas that can spawn in the sewers of losomn has alot of prisoners in cages "hanging out", when you shoot the one with a purple glow he will drop the Severed hand.. now normally its supposed to end there, you pick up the hand, steal its ring and be on your merry way.
This game! LMAO
good old semi auto shotgun is really good
The cube gun is really good as well, has some crazy dmg in its effective range and infinite ammo. Less useful vs bosses unless they are completely ranged but even so, its nice to have a good option when out of ammo.
Nightfall and Aphellion look like weapons left from the Old Ones or something. I love the lovecraftian looks on them.
Can I do in survivor mode
@@A5ylumPri5onerwhat a good loadout of weapons to get merciless. Do u have to do it solo or can to people or more get it at the same time ?
@Mr.Magic_Gadget you can do it with random if you want merciless. Just try to use guns that can't hit critical points, like the lightning pistol, or the grenade launcher, things of that nature.
omg another video on stuff i not find ty guys i love this channel
The mining things are called the extraction hub my man
Also worth mentioning that Plasma Cutter is bugged and sometimes doesn't spawn in the chest. It happened to me already and now I cannot get the downed ship anymore as it seems like a rare random location.
Yooooo I have both in one world at 12:27 I need to go grab the helm and go to the ship
Plasma with that ring that gives bonus damage up to 20% based on overheat value would go crazy
@MrHJordan gotcha. Is it elemental?
Well damn. Been through that pipe room and had no idea the Meridian was just a few feet and 90 minutes away.
I used the Blackmaw for first area and then pulse rifle for most of the game. Pulse rifle has been great but the most powerful gun I use is by far Enigma.. It melts everything..
The Starshot is actually an explosive pistol, its AOE is just REALLY small but the explosive ring and amulet do work with it.
Starshot is more of a boss killer.
Using the amplitude trait makes the 5th value mod usage an entire room clear just be careful cause if your in the room it dosnt discriminate
First time playing Remnant, beat Nightweaverf after like 5 tries and got myself that sweet nightfall, its straight up OP
Wherever im at low hp i just use the mod and i just shred through everything on its way, i killed like 5 bosses with this gun and it just destroys everything on its path + that 10% lifesteal is just freelo at this point. Loving the game so far!
Might want to point out there is bug currently that is believed to be caused by the plasma cutter where the final boss bugs out and despawns. Only way to fix it is to restore an old save.
Whoa... I lucked out, didn't encounter this bug even after dozens of deaths fighting him with the plasma cutter
You can also fix it by killing the boss in someone else's world and watching through the credits
I didn’t get bugged as well everything was good boss was killed with no issues
When I beat annihilation with it, I must’ve got lucky. Though I did get a different bug, where I couldn’t skip the credits. That wasn’t a big deal though.
That happened to me.
Edit: Twice in a row
Nightfall has another added bonus. When entering the nightmare realm its very easy to lose agro. I have rezzed many players in nightmare mode with no hindrance. Its awesome
damnit! i noticed the pipe draining water but couldn't see anything below and when i jumped off right away I died, I never would have thought of waiting and returning 90 minutes later
Rule #1 of Remnant: Question everything
1st game was a sleeper hit. Very fun once you got into it
Just wanted to add that the Star Shot is also an explosive handgun and it’s extremely easy to get in N’erud
Absolutely loving my Aphelion, but I have killed myself multiple times from the Supernova 💀Good for triggering lifesteal if you hit multiple targets with the beam!
I loved the first Remnant game but Remnant 2 blew me away how amazing it is a true surprise hit, never saw that coming.

For the plasma cutter... its actually SPECIFICALLY located in an area called "titans rest" hope this helps
Titans reach and not all the time people are saying they found their ship in the eon vault
This games puzzles and hidden secrets are top notch.
They've ruined other games for us in terms of quality secrets lol
The Meridian also may not deal Weakspot Damage or hasn´t a great Crit-Chance, but it ignores enemies armored Bodyparts.

I missed the room filling after shooting blob in the room at 2:20 I guess I have to go back. Thanks for posting 😭
Aphelion is the one I’ve been using on my entire playthrough. It’s very good 🙌🏻✨❤️
this is a great guide but to be honest 2 at the top on my list at the moment is alpha-omega and nightfall, nightfall is easy to work with and on top of that alpha-omega is super easy to build since you can choose between mod build or damage focus :)))))
There is a ring that helps with overheat and if you rock the cube gun it affects both weapons
You can get the water to fill the room quicker by changing the date or time in your PC. I logged out in Ward 13, changed the date to the next day (2 to 3) then logged back in and went back. The room was filled and I got the weapon.
I almost like weapons with open mods more. There are so many cool mods to add to weapons
I agree
i think i got every single random spawn on my first game in this video except for the alternate sha'hala boss fight key... like damn.
also, desipte not talking to the quest giver, not getting the reward for him for defeating the world boss, not even finding the hole behind him, my entire world was deleted into the alepsis taura
just.... genuinely infuriating.
We got the aphelion today. First three or four runs were rough, fifth one we got him to about the middle, then looked at each other, nodded, my friend tagged his orb with that crit spot mod, and we both shot it with a fully charged starshot. Boss health went byebye. *poof* no more boss.
I really liked Nightfall as a concept, but the reload speed and amount of mod power needed to activate pushes it a bit outside usable for me.
All of this while the minions give you Neat secondary damage.
i feel like enigma and deceit should be on there both are great weapons with the right build
for the meridian it could appear in any of the 2 world story lines i found it in the story line of the one true king you just need to find it in one of the dungeons in the city
Star Shot is a good pistol equipped with the right rings and talisman ,this thing hits very hard and does burning damage of about 1,350 per sec for 10 sec .
But thing is if you activate the special and have 5 cores active and press fire too close to an enemy or object ,its insta death .
for what gun? hot shot is a mod
@@jamesredfield555 Very true ,i meant to say Star Shot which is a pistol with great burning and explosive damage .
I’m happy with my Sagittarius weapon, in lvl 6 deals over 2k damage if you hit the critical spot , it’s OP
Combo starshot pistol with blasting cap amulet. Tons of ammo and every shot procs that massive burn on everyone who takes damage.
For the plasma cutter in my first play through I got the ship but didnt get the thumpers...
I really enjoy the Grenade launcher. I use it in my explosive fire build
