As always, amazing quality products coming from RPM! Definitely picking up one of these for my ProXP to add to arsenal of awesome race proven RPM products that are already on the car now. Thanks Jason and the team at RPM!!
i have this catch can in my x3 and compared to the evp i really like this is a one pice unit and comes with a sponge on the inside so it dosent splash back to the filter, i usually clean it more often during the winter but on summer i hardly get any blow by thanks to the rpm bov as well. the only thing im missing from my bolt on built is the cut out exhaust and im done with upgrades. thanks rpm for cool products made with pride.
I have this same product and i saw while i was idling for about 5mins smoke was coming out from the filter im not sure if its normal ? Cant seem to find anything , need help !
Any close loop catch can for us the guys that run under water and mud? I believe removing the filter and adding a fitting to hose up to the intake should work

Wouldn't it be better to have a sealed catch can, dosnt having vacuum inside the crank case help the ring seal?
It does not help ring seal. If it weren’t for emissions standards the OE’s would vent straight to atmosphere like they did years ago.

This is normal. It's just condensation on start up. Now you know what your motor has been sucking in!

We mount the cans up higher on the frame rail.
Also, seen guys run a extended hose to relocate the air filter higher up on the top cages
So i have same smoke from catch can this normal?
Are the screws stainless steel?
What is the little tube of blue liquid I got with mine? Loc-tite or lube?
Loctite yes
