I'm in a class right now and my adhd is running wild and I could not make sense of these things. And then I found this and it's essentially, to my understanding, just attaching methods to variables and that makes it make so much more sense to me.
These are awsome and easy-to-digest bits that make learning so much easier. So many tutorials out there are just blabbing away and wasting time. Thanks for these!
One might even, in an especially well constructed language's syntax (correctly constructed and implemented semantic rules) simply replace the term CLASS with the rather less esoteric term TYPE? Anyway just a thort, e.g. TYPE simple; SUPTERTYPES display; self.display(0, 0, 'The type of types! Wicked...') END. The TYPE display's definition (inherently an inbuilt type...) is left as a reader's exercise in the simplified language suggested above (so please don't use the misleading term "CLASS" where such a term simply confuses its reader!). Thanks for reading, hope this helps someone, somewhere to get even at least a slightly less confused way of realising the use of the key terms involved.
In case of character, what's the difference between the uses of class and dictionary? Wouldn't they produce the same effect? I might change my style of storing multi key variables from the dictionary to class. Would that be a good way to do?
ngl this is soooo good, but i must add i am really good at python, i just never had to build classes for w while without gpt lol, so if youre a beginner and youre confused it's a good general overview
Maybe, even perhaps, using the readily available keyword TYPE (rather than the obfuscating pseudo-novel term "class") would have saved a lot of people a lot of time trying to 're-conceptualise a concept they already, in many, many cases, intuitively had a quite reasonable understanding of? Ergo, when is a class not a type, when it is a class! Simples... ):-)
I am truly surprised and angry at the same time. I am taking a certificate from IMB and one would think that being a large company their courses would be very effective. But the explanations are too tedious and long. But you in just over 1 minute you helped me understand something that according to the "experts" they couldn't in hours of classes 🤦🏻♂️
@@b001 Thank you! Thanks! Thank you so much! Splendid! I appreciate you! I gave you my love! Let me have your permission to give you my appreciation! Nice! Much love!
aint separate instance atribution, like, the defoult? i dont get it if i call warrior.double offcourse it is ment to use the double inside the warior and not any other arbitrary stuf... so what is the point of telling the thing tha it is itsef?
Amazing how some people can explain something in such a short time that takes an hour for someone else
...on the spot! Thank you so much!!

dafuqqq.., you can call "self" whatever you want, I'm programming in Python for like 6 years and never knew that.
how'd you even start programming, you learn this in most tutorials
@@reguret2976 I was like 13 and didn't understand English so I just did what they did without understanding...
Just don't use "this" that's an Easter egg.
@@reguret2976 why would he need to know useless information like that to start coding.
Bro, my mind is blowing 🤯
This is a pretty good and quick explanation. I hope to see more. Maybe some tips for VS code as well.
I love the videogame analogy. I understand it more easily with a game. Thank you!
Yes, what you said!
now i really understand classes. aint no way i just handled a complex concept in 1 minute and now i know what classes can do. thanks.
Probably the best tutorial i've seen on Python classes so far. Everyone else on RUclips just seems like their endlessly talking about nothing

Short and easy to understand, Great job🔥
Nice video! Btw, what's the theme?

this is one reason why I prefer ruby, self is the instance so you do not have to pass it in.

Yes

Wait, why didn't the ninja's speed double? I kinda lost that part
What color theme do you use? It looks so good.
thanks this explained it well.
Great video! I need more how to python videos !
Damn that was good bro
85 second and I know all that I needed to know!
damn, and even after this i still don't know where classes are actually required to use ,.,
Awesome format
Love it when a youtube video explains better and quicker compared to my Professor, TA, and $89 Textbook combined :,) Thank you very much for this lol
You sir just make 24 minutes into 1 minutes
I never thought a 2 min video could teach me so much...
Wooaahh whats your color scheme?
Amazing vid
very easy explanation thank you
How/why does your terminal look like that, like the spot where you can type and the line directly above it?
😎 MOAR!!

i still don't get what "self" is for, isn't in useless?
verry usefull video but i have a question : whta doest the "f" stand for whent you type "print(f"warior speed: {warrior.speed}")" ?
if you havent gotten your answer the f indicates an f-string which allows you to use the brackets {} to put variables directly into the string
what theme you are using in vs code?
THANK YOU
We need a b002 for Java
