Satan is one of those rare and special bands that always deliver excellence. What can i say, their discography is perfect and they nailed again with this. Fantastic album from start to finish, just as the other four!
Excellent album and Satan sounds very good and the truth is that he told me a great impression ... Heavy Metal of great manufacture and of the old school .... not everything is Saxon, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest .. !!
The comeback trilogy is complete and Once again the Amazing guitar duo of Russ Tippins Steve Ramsey and that polished progressive metal rhythm section with Sean Taylor and Graeme English then add Brian Ross on vocals and the cd equals metal master piece one for the ages, this is an all star lineup of virtuous musicians!!!
Fantastic album! This band continues doing a great job! Brian Ross is an awesome singer, with one of the most beautiful voices of all rock`n`roll ! Great! Perfect songs! 10!
This is just a purely bad ass album - Whether or not it is from this year or 35 years ago makes no difference witch music this awesome. A timeless album IMO.
Ветераны британского хэви выдали очередной шедевр , который оставляет тихо курить в стороне как молодую метал поросль так и бывалых коллег по цеху . На все времена ! Этот коллектив великолепен .
Satan with a killer album once again. I'll never forget seeing them on tour in 2016. Amazing show, with an audience that knew all the words. Also they did the opening to "jessie's girl" during a little technical problem, it was fantastic lol
Saw them on that tour as well. Outstanding live! Did a few shots with Brian Ross that night. Haved loved these guys since discovering them back in the mid 80's by accident.
NWOBHM never died. All these comments are telling me a lot of you don't pay attention or do research. There are so many great, unknown bands making NWOBHM.
NWOBHM= NEW Wave of British Heavy Metal. It's no longer new. People get too caught up in splitting hairs and wanting to create subgenres of subgenres. This style of music is just classic heavy metal. Straight out of the 80's.
i mean, the NWOBHM is a specific term with a specific meaning-- not as much a coherent genre, because it included bands with very disparate sounds from one another (Witchfinder General vs Satan vs Fist vs Venom vs the debut Def Leppard album vs some of the really poppy/AOR type stuff), but more referring to a very specific time period from '78 to '85 where that specific metal scene as observed by Sounds existed
NWOBHM ended. As others pointed out, it refers to the specific period of multiple heavy mental bands resurfacing in England in the 70s-80s. So you can't make NWOBHM, you can make Heavy Metal.
I can't believe i ignored this band back in the 80's because of their name. thought it was like doom Sabbath type wanna be sht. NOPE. Progressive metal. Blowing Maiden on it's as at times by a large margin. I woulda been seriously into this band. Fans of Maiden, Cirith Ungol, Ufo, Slayer, fk, early Fates Warning, Omen, Leathrwolf, power metal, neo classical, maybe even some Rush or Yes, this band has all them skills.
Satan are an English heavy metal band originating from Newcastle upon Tyne in 1979, known as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. The band is considered influential for playing a form of proto-thrash/speed metal that was fairly advanced by the standards of the early 1980s. - more at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satan_(band)

On my bucket list to see live, absolutely.
I saw them on this tour. Russ was having technical trouble playing the intro to Doomsday Clock so he just went straight for the heavy part.
The traditional Metal album of the year!!! Great to see these guys return!! \m/
Brian has such an amazing voice! Great album. Like the raw sound. Sounds live and real. Love Legions Hellbound and Death Knell for a King.

MICHAEL LENTINI I mean, they are still in Skyclad.
true indeed, these guys are so consistent , last 3 Satan releases capture the old vibe that 90% of classic bands don't get
Pariah was Satan...
Intro reminded me of Camel's '...Snow Goose'.
This álbum is very good and your guitar is my inspiration
Satan rules !
Great álbum cheers from Santiago de Chile
Aways very good!
Excellent music rock
Grande album!
Didn't think Firepower could be topped for heavy metal album of the year. I was wrong.
You're right, conquerors oath was better
Disagreed but Conqueror's Oath was really good too
You are rong firepower is the best
You were not wrong.
Excelente.
