Long Line of Ladies Live Event Launch

Odyssey Impact’s Executive Director, Judge Victoria Pratt, moderated this special film premiere and social impact campaign launch event for the documentary short film, Long Line of Ladies, which won the 2022 #MyJustice Film Award.
Long Line of Ladies was made in association with The Pad Project, and tells the story of an indigenous girl and her community as they prepare for her Ihuk, the once-dormant, coming-of-age ceremony of the Karuk tribe of Northern California.
This event features a discussion from the film’s Oscar award-winning Director, Rayka Zehtabchi and Co-Director Shaandiin Tome, film participant Paula “Pimm” Tripp-Allen about the themes uplifted in the film surrounding indigenous worldviews of girls, women, the role of men and cultural reclamation to name a few.
