One of my all time favorite films 🎥
This film is a masterpiece that hasn't aged in 45 yrs! A clear depiction of the alien abduction phenomenon portrayed subtley, ethereally & mysteriously. Some of the characters are adamant & fearful but the girls are not. They are simply drawn magnetically & unquestionably to the sacred rocks. Beautiful, gorgeous & important movie to watch again & again.
An Australian classic! The haunting soundtrack is epic.
A true masterpiece...ironically...timeless.
I wish there was a documentary, "Finding Margaret Nelson"

Thank you!
Oh man why it took these many years !!
Everything begins and ends at exactly the right time and place.
I think her wig works extremely well.
I see Edith continues to expand at an alarming rate post Miss Appleyard college.
Greit making of!
Anatway it was so different seing Picnic those days than now... current generations hardly get it!
Ann Lambert REEEEEALLY disliked Rachel Robert’s. 😅 it’s not just what she says. It’s her overt body language while she’s talking. It’s palpable!
anne-louise lambert seems like a real chore
Yes. She has the Gaul of comment on the actress that played Miss Appleyard yet comes across very condescending herself. Even talking deogratory about her other roles (really dislike actors that talk down shows that put her in the limelight. It’s bad form).
